Every time I google "Goodbye CB" and not "Goodbyecb" to get here, I get a whole bunch of chris brown links. I hate that guy.

ack, i despise chris brown. i don't understand why people support him.

so, i've always rolled my eyes and/or shuddered in revulsion when people use annoying slang to type or speak. BUT THEN. sprint came out with my favorite commercial of all time. and i quote it all the time. nooooooo

I'm waiting to order at a popular Italian market by my house. It's pandamonium and people don't understand the freaking concept of grabbing a number to order.

@adulruna - I feely ya! My stomach is a black hole. No matter how much I eat, I'm always starving. This hunger makes me do bad things, like bake cakes on Wednesday nights, or buy cookies out of the wending machine at work (for the third time this week).

My random - Whenever we start thinking about what we'll have for dinner for the week, my husband always suggests a "chicken bake." Basically, chicken tenders/breasts, fresh of frozen veggies, a couple cans of cream-of-something, topped with either stovetop, bread crumbs or french's onions.

Anyway, I call this "chicken slop" and I always roll my eyes at him and try to come up with a good excuse not to make it (no stuffing - we need to chill out with the carbs; no cream soups - they're full of sodium and saturated fat; etc).

And without fail, every time he makes it, I can not eat it fast enough. And I always get seconds, Becuase it is fucking delicious. I don't even know why I try to argue.

the whole series was good but this particular one is JEJ and MM called "lizzy & kim's call" and is all like totes mcgotes and cray cray adorbs and all that jazz.

my husband would be equally obsessed with chicken slop. which reminds me...when i was growing up my mom made something she just called "barley stew" and it literally looked like throwup. so even though it is tasty we called it "barf stew" instead. mmmmmm.

judyblume14 I would love for my dh to suggest something like your chicken slop for dinner rather than his usual "hot dogs" when I ask. I think I actually said rather loudly in the store one time, "what is it with you and fucking hot dogs?!?" Now it's a joke we have.

My random is that I woke up today to a toddler than had woken up before me, pulled a dining room chair into the kitchen, got into my spice cupboard and sprinkled bacon bits all over the stove and unwrapped and licked each and every single chicken bullion cube in the jar I had just bought. Sad thing is that she always goes for the chicken bullion cubes so this is not the first time I have had this problem.

Over the past few weeks, there have been about five times where we make a concerted effort to put Lu in her Bumbo so that she can be at the dinner table with us (you know, "family dinner" and all that jazz). Four of those five times - we had spaghetti for dinner. Our daughter thinks that all food is meant to be slurped.

I love our Bumbo because it was a hammie down from friends who never used it.  So, free stuff is cool stuff to me.  

We like it because it lets us have family dinner time (we break all  kinds of rules and actually sit her in it ON the table); we're not comfortable putting her in a high chair yet because she isn't great at sitting up.  

I have read arguments against the Bumbo - that because of the way babies fit in it, that it encourages that the "roll" their hips the wrong way.  And that it does nothing to strengthen their core to help them learn to sit.

We use the Bumbo more as a way to "prop" her up when we can't physically assist her in sitting up.  However, *I have noticed that over the past week or so, she's sitting up much better in it. But that's probably because she is getting stronger from tummy time, etc., and not because the Bumbo is teaching her to sit.


TL;DR? Bumbo is good to use to help prop the kid up. Bumbo is not good to use as a tool to teach babies how to sit up. My opinion.

also, for those that need a translation "hammie down" refers to second-hand stuff ;-)

Hammie has been posting in the forums that shall remain nameless. Maybe we need to call her out of the dead zone over there and bring her to this hip new joint.

It is totally a dead zone over there with all of the rainbows people are telling each other about. Newbies and glitter. It is a little fun to see when someone comes in and stirs the pot like they did to ms perfect a few days ago. Were you part of that anewadventure?

I started 3 30 day challenges found on Pinterest yesterday. One is arms, one is legs and butt, and one is core. I find sitting down/going down stairs to be the most excruciating part. So I pretty much dread when I have to pee. Then dd got her 4 month shots (much easier than the 2 month shots since she finally has some meat on her legs) and I feel so bad for her so pizza for dinner tonight with homemade ranch and SVU marathon and we are just gonna snuggle in the recliner. Hopefully DH stays home so he can take care of diaper changes and bring Tylenol and snacks to us haha.
