Hello !
I have a few quick thoughts re: the topics in above title-
I take a prenatal vitamin and have since about 1 year prior to conception, although not on the allllltogether regs as it does upset my stomach, and I'm the worst at routine. I got one of those day-by-day pill taking boxes, set an alarm, have a reminder on the fridge but still sometimes find myself in bed at night wondering if I took my vitamin that day or not....
A dear friend of mine had HG and was unable to take any vitamins without adding to her already severe illness while my SIL took a legit pharmacy of vitamins, possibly even multiple times a day. I'm wondering if anyone has a tough time remembering to take their vitamins ? and if you have any suggestions for remembering other than alarms/aforementioned methods.
[I'll add that I know full well the importance of taking it every day, but I am also a very healthy eater and get lots of folic acid in my regular diet -spinach, asparagus, nooch, avocados, lentils, cereals w/ it added, broccoli, ALL THE CITRUS...]
I wanted to share that I replaced my normal morning coffee with the whole foods brand french roast preground stuff and it does.the.trick. It's really good with almond milk and a 1/2tsp sugar in the raw. I highly recommend it.
Anyone else craving citrus like Kevin Costner in Waterworld ?
(great movie, btw)
I have always been a big fan of citrus, grapefruit in particular, which I had to stop eating for a bit as it conflicted with an antidepressant I was taking, but man oh man, I wake up ready to house clementines every.damn.day. We've gone through 2 of those crates in the past two weeks, and by we I mean me and sometimes DH if I don't catch him first.
So, long post short: Anyone have suggestions for remembering to take vitamins ?
and does anyone have suggestions for nutritional snacks that could spice up a girl's life ?
