I thought *I* was picky!! ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)
I will have to try cold brewed for summer when we do love iced coffee!!
I usually brew super strong in our iced tea/coffee maker then refrigerate and use for a few days. (In summer)
For hot coffee I like dark roast but am ok with med sometimes. We buy beans at Costco and just smell them all and pick whatever smells best that day. Then grind our own beans and brew 1tbsp scoop per "cup" (4 cups is 4 scoops--rounded not flat-- and fill coffee maker to 4 line).
I prefer half n half only in my hot coffee, DH sometimes likes flavor so we usually have vanilla, hazelnut or salted caramel hanging around.
Actually I love alcohol in it, but I'm ktfu so...
Coffee at a coffee place? Give me an Americano with room for cream.
Usually the flavored drinks or lattes are too sweet but I indulge in pumpkin spice and egg nog at least once a year. And not BFing I like peppermint the best. Any time of year.
Also, white coffee. Iced White coffee Americano no cream or anything, that shizz is perfect the way it is. Slightly sweet and nutty. Mmmmm
I come from Seattle and later in life, Spokane. We literally had drive thru stands on every corner with locally roasted beans and all kinds of good baristas.
Here in BFE I'm lucky to get a decent Americano at the SB in Target... I have no love for SB back home because... Choices!! But here... Ugh the one coffee house in my little area is all hipsters and the coffee always tastes burnt. Do not like.
We should talk wine next, ladies!!
A couple Christmases ago DH got me a kuerig... That thing was so disappointing. The small cup setting gets you the right flavor (maybe) but you get the one cup that's all. Then I'm a cheapskate so we bought the refillable cups and I'd pack those babies with lots of grounds... Then you have to clean them out... And do another so your mug is full... Regular brewed was easier and less disappointing. I've never had an amazing kuerig experience. I need strong coffee.
