@mrsym - I'm pretty sure the only thing I haven't done in my sleep is operate heavy machinery. Most everything else has probably happened atleast once.

I'm pretty lucky. I usually fall asleep within 10-15 minutes of getting in bed. I also am a heavy sleeper, and I rarely wake up during the night or before my alarm clock goes off. On the flipside, I snooze about 12,845 times each morning before I drag my ass outta bed.
Fan? ALWAYS on - even when it's freezing outside. No white noise/noise of any kind. MH sleeps in the same bed, it's a king though so I don't have to touch him unless I want to. Our 4 lb. dog sleeps in the bed with us. The bigger dog does not. I sleep in tank tops and cotton pj pants. I usually get in bed with fuzzy socks on in the winter but kick them off before falling to sleep. I just use 1 pillow. I must have a sheet, plus the down comforter on top of that. I like it as dark as possible and cold.

Fan on? Don't prefer White noise? Prefer silence. Can sleep through snoring of epic proportions though. Do you share your bed with your partner? Yup. Not once in 9 years of living together has one of us left the bed to sleep on the couch. Bed > anger. Do you share your bed with pet(s) or children? Pets sometimes. But rarely because it usually results in back pain. Attire? Sleep bra. Undies. Sometimes socks. Sometimes a cotton teeshirt. Never pants. How many pillows? At least one. Lol but I really love my neck pillow. So two normally. Blankets and sheets? I hate the flat sheet but I use it. Other special circumstances or arrangements? We have a certain weight of blankets that must be reached. I like to feel like I am being smothered by big soft blankets. He is a hot body. So we do some artful folding when making the bed. How many hours of sleep are ideal for you? 7-9. What else? I like to drink a big glass of milk before bed. Due to nursing I now chug a smaller glass of milk and a giant glass of water just before going to sleep.
Fan on? Yes! It has to be on as white noise to block out all sounds, and I like the feeling of the breeze. I too am one who can't stand to be hot while sleeping. White noise? Nope. Do you share your bed with your partner? Yes, but I would honestly sleep alone if I could. I just hate being touched while I'm trying to sleep. Do you share your bed with pet(s) or children? The cats sometimes take residence by our feet and we coslept with our daughter for a long while when she was a babe, but now she rarely sleeps in our bed unless we're too tired/come home late and don't want to put her to bed. Attire? All the pajamas! I have a very large pajama collection. But usually it's some sort of comfy pants and a tank top. Socks on/off? Ewwwwww, no. How many pillows? Two. But God if I could only sleep with my pregnancy pillow again. Blankets and sheets? Yep. But I can't stand to have the blanket or sheet tucked in. My feet need to be able to get out if they need to! Other special circumstances or arrangements? Not really. We have a King size bed though and it's amazing. How many hours of sleep are ideal for you? 7-9 What else? I love naps too!
You jinxed me! I can't sleep with either of our kids in our bed, but DD is having a really tough time trying to get to sleep tonight, so guess where she's landed?

Fan on? White noise? We just use a ceiling fan, but I have to have it dark and quiet, whereas, SO wants music or tv on Do you share your bed with your partner? most of the time, yes, but he sometimes sleeps on the couch so he can watch tv Do you share your bed with pet(s) or children? we share our king bed with 2 dogs and 2 cats and have no room Attire? Socks on/off? naked. I cannot feel like I am trapped when I move around at night How many pillows? Blankets and sheets? 2 pillows, sheet, comforter and fuzzy blanket Other special circumstances or arrangements? I have to have my water and a bag of gummy bears How many hours of sleep are ideal for you? 6-8 What else? I love sleep

Fan always has to be on! I work nights so 4 out of 7 nights a week we share a bed. Sometimes I perfer not having him in the bed. We also share our bed with 2 spoiled dogs! No socks as I get extremely hot 2 pillows We use a fitted sheet and 2 comforters We also have black out curtains which are a must when I'm working I try to get at least 7 hours or more of sleep. Any less and I'm a mean person
Sleep has been my enemy for almost 10 years. I miss having a good night's sleep.
If I know I'm not going to sleep well one night, like tonight, I just take motrin pm or some sleep aid. Tonight I am sore from work and I know my legs are going to bother me, so motrin pm it was.

So jealous. I can get a pretty solid 3 hours with Unisom if I'm in a pinch. Having N has forced me into longterm Ambien use. The doc has been stepping me down to lowest possible dose in preparation for future BFP.

Fan on? Yes, but not during winter. Just all the other seasons. White noise? The fan or nothing. Do you share your bed with your partner? Yes. Do you share your bed with pet(s) or children? Nope. Attire? Sweats and tank during winter, t-shirt and britches during summer. Socks on/off? Very off. How many pillows? So many MH jokes that he smothers when I turn over. ... Because they are all mine. Blankets and sheets? Yiss, my special red, fuzzy one. MH has our quilt. We cannot share a blanket. It's a war zone if that happens with sleepy elbows flying everywhere. Other special circumstances or arrangements? If I'm having a particularly bad reflux night or stomach issue, I remove myself from the bed silently and sleep on our wingback sofa (so it cradles my head so I can sleep sitting up). I consistently find MH asleep on the floor next to the couch when I wake up then. He claims he can't sleep without me now (and vice versa in all honesty. I have a history of night terrors and he's the only thing that calms me down. I'm also an insomniac and he'll pull me in and warm me to sleep. He's like a flipping furnace.) How many hours of sleep are ideal for you? 6-8 What else? The room must be a freezing as we can afford it to be. During the summer, it's either run the a/c hard, or I have two fans. During winter, I'll wake up with my blanket kicked off, having had the best sleep of my life. It makes a difference in my temping though, I've figured out.

I'm sorry! My sister has horrible insomnia and nothing helps her sleep. She is literally awake until 4am and falls asleep for a few hours.

The poor girl. Insomnia is really tough. I sound whinier than I actually am. I'm kind of used to the weird sleep patterns. I have bouts of insomnia (currently in one) but my biggest issue is regulating my sleep cycles. I have issues staying awake during the day and staying asleep at night.
*My husband just sleep stumbled out into the living room. He wants me to go lay down. Good thing cell phones are portable.
My sleep has gotten massively better in the last few months, mostly due to the fact that we finally got a new mattress. We went from a hand me down mattress that I swear was at least 20 years old if the timeline I am getting from his parents are correct that was a queen to a brand new king sized mattress. It is a gel infused memory foam mattress. I love my bed! DH and I actually built the bed frame ourselves. It is beautiful.
I want to build a bed frame. I seen someone on Facebook selling beds they made and I swear they looked like the ones Cabela's sells. Rustic cabin like feel stuff. Anyway I want to try but I'm afraid I'm not crafty enough to pull it off.
We have a king size bed. 2 cats and dog share it with us. Me and DH both work night shift so we bought those blackout EZ things to cover up the french door in our room so the light does not come in. It was the best investment I have made for day sleeping. I start off with socks on and sometime during the day they end up off. And I have a bad habit of talking in my sleep. The Husband said I sat up yesterday and called him a fucking son of a bitch and just laid back down and kept on sleeping. Funny thing is I can't even remember dreaming anything yesterday so I don't know what made me do that. lol
I absolutely have to have the door locked, and I like it dark so I can't see anything. It has to be really cold, and the fan is always running for extra coldness and noise. Dh and I cuddle before falling asleep, but then turn away from each other because we sleep on opposite sides of our body. Neither of us can stand being all up in each others personal space while sleeping and we are ok with that. We have a queen sized bed, and we both sleep with two pillows, and a nice down duvet. Gosh I'm so tired, sleep sounds so good.

Fan on? In the winter absolutely not because we turn the heat way down and I am cold by nature. White noise? Yes we normally have a movie we have seen before on low or music on low.
Do you share your bed with your partner? Sometimes. I work a 8 to 4:30 or 8:30 to 5 depending on if college is in session/summer, but DH is now a midnight to 8:30 worker so on the weekends we share the bed part of the time and he usually stays in bed with me until he has to get ready to go to work on the weekdays.
Do you share your bed with pet(s) or children? During the winter both the purebred Sib. Husky and the Husky mix sleep with us. In the summer the purebred will come and give kisses, but is gone within 15 minutes.
Attire? Socks on/off? My attire varies so much so it is hardly worth mentioning. In the winter I wear the really soft fuzzy socks to bed.
How many pillows? 2 non-feather pillows since DH is allergic to the feathers.
Blankets and sheets? During the winter I am all for my flannel sheets and down-alternative comforters. In the spring/summer/fall I am a thread count snob and usually only have 700+ thread count sheets on the bed. My husband totally didn't understand such things until we started living together.
How many hours of sleep are ideal for you? I like getting 7:30 to 8, but I can run on as little as four.
We refused to get anything smaller than a King size bed. I used to be a door closed only girl, but the purebred husky loves sleeping in the hall during the summer so I leave the door open now.

Fan on? White noise? Yes. Overhead and one to blow right on my husband. Do you share your bed with your partner? Yep. Do you share your bed with pet(s) or children? No. Attire? Socks on/off? In my birthday suit or pajamas... mostly the first, unless I put on pajamas to wear to lounge around. How many pillows? Blankets and sheets? One pillow, a top sheet, two blankets, and a duvet... and one of those blankets is electric... boogie woogie woogie woo... Other special circumstances or arrangements? I freeze and the husband boils, so the electric blanket is our new solution. We turn it on an hour before bed and then climb in. You can control each side separately, so he turns his off and I keep mine on until I'm toasty or asleep... How many hours of sleep are ideal for you? 8 or 9 or 10...

Fan on? Always. In the winter it is pointed away from us and used as white noise and in the summer I have 2 fans pointed at the bed.
White noise? Always.
Do you share your bed with your partner? Yes. We might cuddle before falling asleep but we always move apart before too long. He is like a damn furnace.
Do you share your bed with pet(s) or children? My cat always sleeps up near my head, but to get on the bed she jumps on MH's legs which pisses him off.
Attire? T-shirt/tank top and underwear, sometimes no shirt in the summer
Socks on/off? I wear fuzzy socks with my slippers in the winter and sometimes when I'm cold I wear them in bed until my feet warm back up.
How many pillows? One.
Blankets and sheets? sheet and comforter
Other special circumstances or arrangements? I still sleep with my childhood blanket...
How many hours of sleep are ideal for you? 7-9
What else? I can't sleep on planes or in cars and I cannot nap unless I'm sick.

Fan on? White noise? I like to fall asleep with the TV on.
Do you share your bed with your partner? Yes
Do you share your bed with pet(s) or children? Yes, my dog sleeps right next to me, shares my pillows and sleeps under the covers.
Attire? Socks on/off? Socks on when I first get in bed, and then I usually throw them across the room during the night.
How many pillows? Blankets and sheets? Two pillows each, a light blanket and a down duvet.
Other special circumstances or arrangements? None, I can fall asleep any time, any where.
How many hours of sleep are ideal for you? I usually go to bed around 9:30, wake around midnight, 3am, then up for the day by 5am. I can't sleep through the night ever.
What else? H and the dog are weird sleepers. They both sleep with their eyes partially open.

I miss sleep!
I am co-sleeping with my 1 1/2 year old. He still doesn't STTN. I am lucky to get 8 hours of broken sleep, which sucks! I sleep with two pillows, one for between my knees. Usually in the "H is for Hell" position, with DS sleeping horizontally between dh and I.
We need to change, but I always have excuses. We're going on a trip late next month, so I don't want to go through the headache of change if he ends up sleeping with us on the trip, and then be back at square one when we get home. So much guilt, too.

TL;DR...here's our info:
Fan on? White noise? ceiling fan only on during summer if it's warm in our room. ALWAYS white noise machine. I absolutely cannot sleep without it. Do you share your bed with your partner? Of course. Do you share your bed with pet(s) or children? No way. Buffy (our golden) would be all over us all night Attire? Socks on/off? I only sleep in my panties. I will put socks on if I get cold. If my feet are warm, I'm warm. How many pillows? Blankets and sheets? one pillow each. We each have our own comforter because he is a terrible blanket hog. He also twitches a lot in the night, and I am a very light sleeper. When we used one blanket, he would twitch just enough to move the blanket and it would wake me up. Things have improved drastically since we switched to separate blankets. Other special circumstances or arrangements? I put vicks on every night. Doesn't matter if I'm sick or not. I like the smell. How many hours of sleep are ideal for you? 8 What else? I like it to be cold. I don't like to sleep uncovered, and we only use comforters. Matt sometimes has 2 blankets and pj's on and I'm still warm in my panties and one blanket.
Do you share your bed with pet(s) or children? - Dog, sleeps right in the middle of us most nights.
Attire? Socks on/off? - Tshirt and underwear only. Can not sleep with socks.
How many pillows? Blankets and sheets? - 3, my sham, a regular pillow, and then my special pillow that has cooled gel on it. Just a sheet and comforter on the bed unless it gets REALLY cold.
Other special circumstances or arrangements? - only that MH and I have specific sides of the bed
How many hours of sleep are ideal for you? - during the week because I normally go to bed too late 6-7 hours, but on the weekend 9-10 hours
What else? - I always have one leg out from under the covers.
