Annoyed with people who stay in the returns/exchanges/checkout lane who are buying stuff when they open more lanes and hold up those of us with returns/exchanges grrrr
I just got a call from DD's doctor. Last night he said she probably has pneumonia, so we had chest xrays done today to confirm. Turns out she doesn't have pneumonia, it's bronchiolitis. Which is a much better diagnosis! She has been acting much more like herself today, eating and playing more. Thanks for all the T&Ps you gave, it means a lot!
OH I forgot too... Tonight on Dateline they are running a story about a murder that happened in the little town that I work in. I REALLY want to stay up and watch it but it's not on until 9pm... I don't know the last time I saw 9pm on the clock.
not to mention I might be too scared to sleep afterward!

I wanted an Oreo McFlurry so bad I waited in a crazy, inexplicably long McDonald's drive-thru line for 20+ minutes. It was 100% worth it.
bwisco123 No DVR here, either. I actually don't have cable at all - we survive on Netflix and Hulu Plus, along with local channels. I just can't justify the cost of cable for a few shows I might watch semi-consistently from time to time.
Did anyone else get the email saying TD is "relaunching" soon - ugh. I try and try to ignore that shithole and they still find ways to get all up in my face.
I have un subscribed from their emails three different times and I am STILL getting them. Ugh! Go awaaaay!
@the baby movement discussers: this LO decided to throw a rave tonight while I was trying to read DS his bedtime stories. I think he was as irritated as I was. LO kicked him in the ribs about a million times, as he/she was apparently head butting or punching my cervix. DS poked my belly back and said "NO NO!"
I feel like this is me every day. It's like my body is saying "Get ready to gain all those pounds in the 3rd tri!"
That is my big fear! I mean the rational part of me understands that I am obviously going to gain weight in the 3rd tri, but I was overweight going into this so I'm still terrified that I'll end up going over my doctor's recommendation. That said, for the last 25 weeks I've listened to my body and so far I'm on the right track, so I'm just gonna roll with it.
Same here! I was overweight to begin with and should only gain about 10-15 pounds total pregnancy. So far I've only gained about 5, and I know the way I've been eating lately that the rest is gonna come this trimester.
Does anyone have experience with panic attacks while pregnant? I just had an awful one this evening and now I'm freaked about whether it can harm my baby. Normally I can think about these things rationally but I've been a mess for the past 2 hours
I think pintobean hasn't been doing the randoms and other popular ones but I was happy to see her pop up yesterday.
I'm not around as much anymore especially on the long threads because reading all that makes me dizzy. I'm also having a lot of problems with my hands going numb so I can't hold the phone for long periods of time. Just in typing this I'm losing the feelings in my thumb. Isn't pregnancy wonderful.
I'm doing my best to keep caught up, but I'm sure I still miss a lot that's going on.

Pregnancy...wonderful...yessssss. At least babies are wonderful to make up for all the BS. Glad you and LO are okay, I was starting to worry til I saw you comment yesterday.

Thank you, I'm feeling a lot better now. I just hope it doesn't become a pattern. I figured one episode wouldn't harm anything but of course it's hard to think rationally in the thick of it
And thank you too @kendra1992 I'm glad yours have subsided.
You okay shmee ? I haven't had any panic attacks while pregnant but even not pregnant they are scary as hell. Especially when you get to the point where it feels like you can't breath and your chest is going to implode. I'm really sorry you're having a rough night. I would definitely talk to your doctor and see if they know a way to either prevent panic attacks or a way to settle down once you have one, or even calming techniques when you feel it coming on. Feel better lady. Eta booooo I posted too late. Glad you're doing better!
I'm okay now, thank you. It got to the point where I couldn't take a breath, it's so freaking scary. It's been a few years since I've had one so hopefully this was just a fluke. In the past I've taken klonapin for them but obviously I can't do that now so I just have to learn a way to work through them

We miss you! Hopefully this numbing thing is just temporary.
Got a call from the nephrologist earlier with my test results. My protein level has gone from 650 mg/dL to >2000 mg/dL in only four weeks. Then SO called to inform me that he got fired today. Yup.

shmee I'm glad that you're feeling a little better. I'm sorry about the panic attack.
alwayslastzz Woohoo for winning! We're going to Vegas in around a month, I'm crossing my fingers that DH's luck holds with the little amount he'll let himself gamble/spend, and maybe we'll win a bit too!
pintobean It's nice to see you, you're very missed. Dizzy spells and numbness would for sure keep me away too. I hope that you're feeling much better soon, take it easy!
ETA @sastahlman I'm so sorry, that sucks, on both counts. Big creepy internet hugs.
Thanks. I'm not worried about it right now. I have an appointment with my MW on Tuesday to discuss where to go from here, and SO has alreadh had a possible job lined up for a few days. It's not really a huge loss since his checks only end up being $300 every two weeks after taxes, union dues, insurance costs, and gas expenses for the commute. And he was miserable there, so I'm trying to look at it as a blessing in disguise.
