Also, not really a confession, but something to make you guys laugh this morning: Last night I dreamed that I was in a public restroom and the toilet paper had pregnancy tests printed on it. The words changed from blue to pink if it was positive. Sort of an ingenious idea, really...

I want Thanksgiving to be over so that I can set up my Christmas tree. Seeing people put up their lights already makes me super happy and H super mad. I just want to join them in their early decorating!

We had about 300 pieces left and I KNEW my H would eat them all immediately. So I hid the bags and put out a small bowl that I refill nightly. He thanked me lol

I only shave if there is a specific reason to, like if I have to wear shorts or a dress in public. Otherwise I don't shave my legs.


Well, to be honest, I do shave once every month or so in the winter, just so my leg hair doesn't get longer than my husband's....

That said, FFFC: my SIL got an epilator recently and we tested it on one of my legs in my birthday this Wednesday. So I have one mostly smooth leg and one hairy leg. I'm a walking before and after and this amuses me greatly.

Can you rate the pain of the epi on a scale of 1 to 10? With ten being punched in the boob by the Hulk?

Depends on what you're used to? Also, it's not one static number.

So, starts at "totally biffing it while skateboarding too fast" and goes down to "I rolled in the grass for fifteen minutes and now I itch so much it almost hurts".

Ftr, I get my hair waxed, so it's really not any worse than that after the initial shock.

I've only gotten my legs and bikini area waxed twice ever, and those were probably the most painful experiences of my life. But I do have a lot of hair.

I generally shave weekly only because I wear a lot of skirts/dresses and you can still see the hair with nylons.

FFFC: I was subbing fifth grade on Wednesday. During my prep I was asked to help in first. After the first half I told her I had to check to see if they needed me during the LAB period since it was in the classroom (the teacher even said I might if a LAB teacher was out). They didn't need me and I didn't go back to the first grade class. I needed a mental break.

H doesn't really care anymore if I shave them or not. He sometimes teases me about being a yeti, but meh.

Which leads me to my second confession: My husband's nickname for me is Wookie. Has been since about 2 months after we started dating. He likes to refer to himself as Wookie Master. So much so that he changed his info in my phone to read "(H's name) The Wookie Master". Which leads to my bluetooth in my car announcing an incoming call from "(H's name) Master" on the regular.

starbuck27, It hurts at first, but it's really not that bad. My SIL used it on her face and isn't a regular waxer, so as long as you just keep going, you get used to it pretty quick. Don't let the pain scare you away if you're interested enough to buy!

This. The hair starts catching and for some reason the longer my leg hair gets the more it dries my skin out. Even with tons of lotion.

Old school FFFC: Back in high school, when I was a competitive swimmer year round, I stopped shaving my legs completely in late August/early September and usually didn't shave again until mid to late February.

Now, I still routinely go 3+ weeks between shaves, unless there's a special occasion that requires a skirt/dress or I can't get away with tights/leggings.

I guess my FFFC is that I shave every single day. I hate when my legs feel prickly and I don't feel as clean if I take a shower and don't shave. So, I have to shave in every shower- even if I shower twice in a day.

I like it enough, I'm probably going to get one. They're kinda spendy, but I think I would use it enough to justify the cost. As for try and return, I'm not sure. Shop around and look for somewhere that has a good return policy, I guess? I'd assume some places wouldn't let you because ~biological~ things, so make sure it's somewhere that won't just deny you because your skin touched it.
