LO has a possible dairy intolerance so I've had to cut out milk this week to see if it helps and of course it did. I normally have a bowl of cereal each night and at least one glass of milk if not more a day. It makes me sad that I may have to go without it for 6 months or so. But if it means a happy, healthy baby I'm gonna suck it up and deal with it.
It depends on the day. But I like all the sugary, fake colors cereal. Lucky charms, etc.
My husband literally just ate a bowl of lucky charms this morning and I'm so jealous. LO has been super gassy so I'm trying to see if dairy is our culprit too
Re: leaking Have you ladies tried flipping your nipple up? With DD's I would leak quite a bit until she told me to flip the nipple up against the breast pad. I still leak a bit but not as bad as when I don't flip.

About 3 days into cutting out dairy, my DH sat down beside me with a big ole bowl of honey nut cheerios (one of my favorites). I looked at him and said are you serious. He just laughed and moved out of arms reach. I miss cereal so bad and almost milk just isn't the same.
Me too. After a couple of days of soaking through multiple shirts and bras I went out and bought a huge box of breast pads.
Me 3 except I have moved up to using a burp cloth for each boob. The pads just didn't have large enough coverage for my boobs at night.
Oh my god, I can't imagine! I don't leak like that at all, unless I'm braless. Now ironic that I wish I had that issue. I bought tons of pads thinking I was gonna need them, even some reuseable ones. Now I only use them so my nipples don't touch the bra directly after I put cream on them. Thinking of returning the reuseable ones for a refund.

I'm back on the diabetes diet. Apparently the lack of sleep is pushing my glucose level into prediabetic. So long, cookies, cereal and fruits.

I had to give up regular milk right before getting pregnant. Lactose free milk is pretty good. You should try it. I couldn't live without my kiddie cereal.

How did you decide it was a dairy intolerance? Im curious if dairy is making my little man gassy but i dont want to cut it out unless i have too

babycfeb2015 we were dealing with constant green, mucousy stools for about two weeks. So after a little research I decided to cut out milk just to see if there was a change. Since I cut it out his stools have been changing back to the yellow, seedy stools BF babies are supposed to have. The pedi said that when you see mucousy stool there is something irritating his digestive system. I haven't cut out all dairy yet just the milk.
