I've stopped wearing shirts to bed bc a)they're a pain in the ass to pull up to feed when DS is screaming for the boob and b)he either spits up or pees on me just about every night.
I wear nursing camis pretty much every night. They are easy.
I need to get some more. I only have 1 cami and 2 bras.
I know. I have a half brother that is 3 and my dad was telling me the other day about him pooping in his train table drawer. I am not looking forward to those days at all.

Shirts are overrated. I just wear a pull aside soft sleep nursing bra at night. If I'm cold when I get up for feedings I toss on my fleece robe.
Though I do second that nursing tanks are nice. I wanted long stretchy tanks for maternity wear to make my pre-preg work wardrobe last longer, so I just went ahead and bought nursing ones; mine are from Motherhood Maternity. They often have buy 3 get 1 deals, but they're probably still a little pricey. I've heard good things about target & old navy brands.
We got in size 2 diapers yesteday so we havnt had pee or poop solos ions since. It's been nice
We sized up also. I only had like 15 size 1s left, so I was trying to use them up. After 3 back to back leaks I finally said f it and pulled out the 2s.
I don't understand why of LO takes fewer naps during the day he sleeps worse at night. Shouldnt he be more tierd? It's like his sleep switch is turned off
better daytime sleep means better nighttime sleep...unless baby has days and nights confused.
Is that true? Is that really a thing? Cause I try and keep him up in the afternoons to get him tierd but I don't think that is workjng

And now I commence the rocking I get DS back to sleep. See you ladies in about 2hrs. I really can't wait for him to start sleeping for longer stretches. We've been on the 2hr feeding schedule since we left the hospital. He's 6wks 5days now. You'd think my body would be used to that at night but nope.

We have a big box left..i thought he'd be in them longer. Just found out another coworker is pregnant thoguh so might give to her. Or donate them.

Yes, it's true...but there is a fine line. Happy Sleep Habits, Healthy Child is a good sleep book to read. I generally let LO nap in the afternoon, but try to keep her up from after dinner to bed with no long naps. I also don't let her nap longer than 2-3 hrs during the day.
Hmm that's good to know. He does one long stretch in the morning which is when I get anything done I want to house/cleaning wise. I havnt been promoting an afternoon nap. He cat naps but unless we drive somewhere I don't promote afternoon nap. Maybe I should try that.
I have been wearing nursing camis to bed and hate to say it but the only ones I have/want are the medela ones that only babies r us carries. I ordered two nursing bras yesterday bc I only have one at the moment and if it gets gross (leaked on) I am SOL. Hoping they show up fast, I didn't get much nursing wear before DD showed up.
Also, DH has suddenly taken an interest/concern in DD's breathing at night. So last night he woke me up which then woke up DD over her breathing which is just how she does it. And if he was paying attention, he would know this. /rant over.
So today was some sort of thing where we got 12 hours of day and 12 hours of night - I can't remember the name of it but I always blame that kind of stuff for people being out of sorts. DD is sleepy but I just hope this doesn't bite me in the ass at 2:30 in the morning.

The vernal equinox. I believe it's Friday/Saturday. First day of spring.

That's right!! They were talking about it on the weather portion of the news so I didn't realize it was later in the week. I hope everyone has cooperative, sleeping babes tonight!!

It's one of those weird random things I remember from high school.
Unfortunately, tonight DD has been screaming her head off for two hours. I've never heard her scream like that. I think she's getting her canine teeth, which I've heard can be absolutely awful. Poor girl is so exhausted.
Ds was pretty brutal today. Took naps totalling about 2 hours after getting up at 730. Very fussy, wanted to nurse constantly but kept falling asleep and then would be super cranky when I tried to put him down. On the plus side I was so tired dh took over when he got home and I got to sleep from 830 till 1 in the guest room. Now he is over there
I have a friend and her todler coming over in the morning. We are thinking of going to a pottery place so I can make something for MIL s bday like a plate with Los handprints or something. The todler will be breaking in LOs crib for her nap.

Canines were AWFUL with DS. He got those and his first molars right after, that was a special stretch of hell. I was doling out Motrin and teething tabs like candy. Hope she's able to get some rest and relief. I am SO not looking forward to dealing with teething again.
I last fed the babyna bottle of breast milk 3 hours ago. He slept for 1 hour then started fussing and needed a pacifier in his mouth. I picked him up after half an hour of getting up to put the pacifier back in his mouth in 4mins intervals. He got to sleep on me instead. Now we're 3 hours after his bottle and he's still hasn't demanded his feed. This is quite the record.
Now the million dollar question is, how do I get him to sleep longer than an hour without fussing?
