I was a member of 3T over on the dump since March or so of 2014, and then moved here during that crazy mess over there.
For those who can't see my siggy, we started with our RE in April of 2014 after it looked like I had a blocked tube during an hsg in March. It was just a spasm, but the RE found some endo during the lap surgery and cleaned that out. We went through testing in May and did 3 cycles of medicated (femara) IUIs over the summer. We took a break and started our first (and hopefully only) IVF cycle in December. We got 17 mature eggs, 14 fertilized (with ICSI; his numbers were good, they just didn't/couldn't get through the eggs), transferred 1 blastocyst, and froze the rest (7 survived the freeze). And now I'm here! I tested (really faintly, thought it was negative at first) positive on 12dp5dt and then clearly positive on 14dpt. So far my betas have been 146, 320, and 701 (doubling at about 42.4 hrs).
We have 3 wonderful, super snuggly kitties - 2 brown tabby sister cats with weird tails that I got in South Korea and one little cross-eyed siamese mix. And work for the same university, but on different campuses (my department is a support division for other departments, including his). Our RE works on my campus too, making it super easy to deal with appointments (relatively speaking). It is a little weird though sometimes, in that I run into the other clinic's RE (who's seen me a few times as a patient; he did my ER actually) as part of my job. I kind of want to flash him and say something like "remember me!?" (he does, he's just very professional about it).
I'm really excited to be here and I hope that I can be good contributor!
