I got an email to take a survey to win a 200 dollar gift card. I got to 77% of the survey, giving it all bad reviews, before I gave up. I don't want a chance to win their blood money!

3T April siggy challenge. Animal hybrids. The Pugorilla!
Yes. Lame. Which reminds me that I need to tell them to remove me from their email list. Are other people still getting emails after their content has supposedly been deleted?
Yeah - I got that one...I really need to take myself off their list. I don't need an email asking me if I'm KTFU every week - I have enough people who ask me that IRL.

Given the fact that they pre-emptively banned longtime good mods, I'd say they weren't adverse to clearing house. I don't think they intended everything to go the way it did, but they probably aren't terribly unhappy with the result, assuming they recover their page hit and app ratings. Given their standing and advertising, there's a decent chance they will, though thenest never recovered, so who knows for certain? A hot mess of a way to do business.
Or did they cause that giant fiasco in preparation for their re-launch?
That would be my guess. They made it clear they didn't care if the regs left all along.
+1 for this. I think this was all part of one communication strategy that was 1) misguided from the start, and 2) went horribly array due to some completely unprofessional Bump Gods. I unsubscribed from their email, which BTW gives you the option to say why you're leaving. Well, since you asked, TB.....

But the clientele that they are looking for are people who aren't interested in building relationships like the previous posters. They'll be drive by am I pregnant posts who will all fade away. It's sad, and I hope that the dump does fall like the nest did.

I'm still getting emails despite having a full deletion AND clicking on their unsubscribe option TWICE. I'm annoyed.

Someone tried to start a TWW thread over there. They didn't even know the format and got no responses. I found it quite hilarious. I have an AE, but I think I'm done giving them the few hits I was.
God, I don't even check the email I signed up with anymore. Well, I do, but just to delete all the shit I signed up for with it. Lol. I haven't been to the dump in several days. Honestly, I don't miss it. Not with this place to come to.
Last time I logged in over there, it was full of "am I preggo" and "wah wah big meanie" posts.
Oh the email about the journey from pregnancy to parenthood? The survey about what category I fit into, where if you clicked 'other' because nothing existed for loss or IF* groups, you went directly to the end of the survey?
Yeah I got those.
I was really pleased to see how, as usual, they really considered how these emails would affect the loss and IF communities.
(* they did have a category of trouble trying to conceive which is not the right fit for many women dealing with IF, a complex issue)

Of course they are lazy too. It's not that head to search a TWW thread and copy it. There's thousands of them!
