I'm struggling with what to take for lunch lately. I always pack a lunch for work and have always brought salads, but with this first tri business I just can't do salads. And I can't keep getting doughnuts at the drive thru everyday.

What have you been eating for lunch lately?
I fully support drive thru doughnuts every day! I will sometimes have hard boiled eggs and a quarter of an avocado.

I can't eat square meals right now, so I end up eating a mishmash of stuff. Things I keep in the fridge at work for lunch include: sliced cheese, salami, pickles, applesauce, crackers, grapes, etc.

I remember my first pregnancy, I would bring almost a grocery bag of food with me to work every day. I did that, because what sounded good when I was making my lunch that morning, usually didn't by the time it was lunch time (or snack times). So since it was hit or miss, I packed all different kinds of stuff. So far, this pregnancy, I just bring a lot of snacks (some healthy, some not), and one main dish. If I don't feel like eating that main dish, then at least I have 20 snacks to back me up for the rest of the day until I get home.
Are salads just not appetizing or are they physically making you sick?
I've pretty much found that it doesn't matter how shitty I feel I can always go for pasta. So I do some cold pasta dishes for lunch. If you can stomach them, chicken wraps are a good lunch go to. But I think I pretty much live off of peanut butter wraps and grilled cheese sandwiches first tri. Is there other breakfast food you can do for lunch? Like bagels, English muffins, etc?
I might take some leftover pasta. Or I might just eat applesauce. Or, I could get a grilled cheese at the grill at work. Probably going to go with grilled cheese and applesauce.

I am limited in what I can eat because I am lactose intolerant, I would love some pizza or a grilled cheese sandwich... or cheese in general but I just cant.
I usually take a bunch of snacks and then leftovers. Today I have leftover potato soup that I will be trying to eat some of. I usually feel ok in the middle of the day so I can stomach some real food.
There's a couple of cafes near work that I hit up regularly. Salads, some soups are ok, hot sandwiches are especially appealing. What turns me off the most lately is anything with shredded meat, beans, chili, heavy spice, etc.
Un-pregnant, I am basically the anti-snacker. Now I'm starving by 10am and again by 3pm, so I've been bringing granola bars, cheese sticks, and crackers to snack on.
Today I brought leftover pizza so I have time to dress shop for my company Christmas party.

Cheerios (plain), saltines, potato chips, apple sauce if it is a good day. I try to have an egg to get some protein. I managed to have 1/2 a veggie quesadilla last week. But, I'm really struggling with m/s.
I am lucky and have been able to eat about anything as I really haven't experienced M/S but I have been eating baked chicken fajita leftovers as nachos the last couple of days. Today I am having chicken salad on club crackers or I am going to Subway for seafood salad.

Salads are just not appetizing right now. I'm finding I need crunchy or sweet foods. I've never been into sandwiches. All I can think of is toasted bagel, and I've taken cold pizza a couple of times. English muffins are a good idea!

For crunchy, how about tacos or nachos with guacamole or hummus? Crackers and cheese could work. For sweet, you could try muffins, which may be a little better than donuts. Or chocolate covered nuts to snack on.
I apologize that this post is literally just a stream of consciousness.

those3words, I feel you on the m/s. It's going to get better!! My pharmacist mentioned chocolate milk, and it has helped me so much. It makes me feel full (and we know that those carbs just don't do that) and doesn't make me sick. Maybe you can try that! It's a lot of calories, but at this point I don't care.
I eat a lot of wheat thins, sometimes on their own, sometimes with cheese. That's been my lunch the past couple weeks, or dry cinnamon Life cereal. Is there something you notice you've been craving frequently? You could make that and take it for lunch. Also, I like ginabini's idea on the cup of noodles! I don't know about you, but I can't stomach anything with a lot of spice/"fancy", so the noodles and broth sounds so good.

Thanks ladies! You've given me lots of good ideas. Snacks all day is a great idea, since that's mostly what I feel like eating. I also love the idea of a cup of noodles! I should keep some in my desk at work at all times.

FYI, Subway didn't go down so well but I got a fruit smoothie and plain egg sandwich from Panera this AM and ate it over the course of an hour. So far, so good.......

I second the one meal and a giant bag of snacks. Typical snacks: Bags of popcorn Grapes Cheese sticks Clementines Pop tarts Peanut butter crackers Lemon drops (these are amazing for nausea)
icaughtfire I love Jimmy Johns right now too. Their pickles always hit the spot.
Eta: Today I was home and made grilled cheese and chicken and stars.
