H forgot to close the gate on the stairs when he left for work. I only figured this out after I finally followed DD into the living room. Ahhhh panic attack! I have also picked up his water glass she was playing with from last night and a few other things, but the gate put him on my list this morning.
Nothing happening today. Got some presents wrapped yesterday. Hoping to continue tonight but I have to wait til at least H is home or the girls are in bed (cause that's just not happening with the girls around - I'm very particular when it comes to wrapping). Oh and I just remembered H may be late tonight due to a meeting. Sigh.

Running a training today to transition a bunch of my responsibilities. Hoping we can wrap up early so I can leave a little early. Its my birthday and usually DH makes me mac and cheese for dinner but since the recipe we use is a lot of work I agreed that we can order something of my choice for dinner tonight instead.
Random thing -- I was watching some best animated characters thing on Fox Monday night. Daria was up in there. I completely forgot that her sister's name was Quinn.

Nothing much going on here today. I need to go grocery shopping at some point. I also need to get DH to take S over to his parents' house for a bit so that I can sew our new tree skirt together. S has decided that the sewing machine is terrifying and goes ballistic if he's here and I use it.
I just found out my old boss is leaving the company in a month or so. Her job is the one I have wanted in this company for a while, but it comes with more hours and less flexibility. I don't know if I even want to apply for it now that I'm a mom. V is my main focus these days. But still, the opportunity may not come up again anytime soon.

Nothing exciting here. I went to the doctor's last night and got a prescription for my sinus infection. I still have a headache today, but at least it isn't debilitating. I swear, I've been sick more since Cole started daycare than I have ever been in my entire life.
And Cole is still battling congestion. My husband is taking him to the doctor's this afternoon. He couldn't get comfortable in his crib last night because of how congested he was, so he slept with his head propped on my stomach all night. So pathetic and sweet all at the same time.
The spelling bee at school this morning was some FIERCE competition. The top two kids went 'round and 'round for a long time before we had a winner. Exciting stuff, I tell ya.
So my mom saw my Harry Potter coloring book and asked if I "sent away" for it. She thinks everything we get delivered from amazon (when they are here babysitting) is like the old style catalog ordering or something. She doesn't understand that most times it's cheaper plus you save the time & gas money going to the store. My mom is so old skool.

As I have learned from my local forum the answer is always apply. You can bring up your concerns for discussion and decline later, if you don't apply the answer is automatically no.
