Question RE: Possible problems before pregnancy?

Um... I'm sorry if this isn't in the right section ahead of time. I was talking to someone at work yesterday about children, and I wanted to get some more information from you fine folks if you knew more about this.

Quick backstory: 28. Never had kids, but would like to have them someday.

I'm almost afraid that I won't be able to have kids, though. Problem is that my ovaries are shifted over to the right, and my right ovary is right on top of my appendix. Right ovary flares up quite often, and I keep thinking my appendix is in trouble. Will this be a problem if I ever want to try to conceive? Co-worker's quite sure my appendix is going to burst during pregnancy if I ever become pregnant. If I want to try to conceive, do I need the appendix removed first?

Thought of another thing:

Don't go looking for trouble. You don't want to have fertility issues, trust me. When you're ready to have kids, give it a good year before you start thinking something may be wrong. In a normal, healthy couple, you have a 20% chance to conceive each cycle with perfect timing. Just 20%. It takes a normal, healthy couple up to 12 months/cycles to conceive. After that point, you'll want to seek the guidance of a fertility specialist called a reproductive endocrinologist. They'll work with your specific set of circumstances to come up with a plan to get you pregnant.

Things to consider, in regards to the bolded:
1) Is your co-worker a medical doctor?
2) Why would the position of your ovary cause your appendix to burst while pregnant?

Okay. Sorry about not adding some better information...

No. Don't have an OBGYN. I'm not even sure I'll have health insurance in a few months. (I'm on the state of CT insurance, and because I updated my information on their site with a rough estimate of how much I make a week, I think there's a problem.)

I honestly can't remember when or who said that my ovaries are shifted. So the last time I had a major flare-up, I had to tell the ultrasound lady about it.

I can try to book an appointment with an OBGYN, but I don't know how long it's going to be before I can get in.

1. DO NOT GET PREGNANT IF YOU DON'T HAVE INSURANCE.
2. This seems super odd. Why would it have come up that your ovaries were in an abnormal position? Did you have an ultrasound for something and it was discovered? 
3. What kind of flare up? Like, could you possibly be having a cyst that ruptured?
4. Get your vag checked now. Annual healthy-check appointments are important. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't all well-visits covered 100% under ALL insurances?

Also, you do not get pregnant in your appendix. I don't understand why this would even come up.

My left ovary is in a very odd position way up high. When I got pregnant, the baby implanted in my uterus so the position of my ovary did not matter. Your body might be different though.

And yes, annual GYN exams are fully covered these days, on all insurance including Obama care, which everyone qualifies for.

Depends on your doctor. Most insurance still covers 1 per year, but some doctors recommend every third year. My doctor lets me make the choice.

It's just kind of confusing, we're all just trying to get the story straight.

Regardless - if you've had cysts before, you'll want to keep an eye on that. But only your doctor can tell you if your ovaries being close to your appendix could cause fertility issues.
