I think we have a sizable group of loss moms on the board & was wondering if you guys would be interested in having a PgAL check-in. I'm definitely active on CAR but even though we're all loss moms there, we're all at a different stage in our pregnancies (except for maybe 3 of us). Thanks and have a great Sunday!!
ETA: PAIF
ETA 2: Doh! I can't edit the poll to include PAIF! So please know that you're voting for a PAIF/PgAL check-in.

Since there are so few of us total on this BMB, would you guys be game for a combined PAIF/PgAL check in? I feel like a lot of our fears and concerns will be the same- and we all know what it feels like to fight a long hard battle for our rainbows

I'm game for a PAIF/PgAL check in. Do you think once we get most of the board together, we'll separate them or y'think we'll keep them together the whole time?
I'd love it...seeing as I'm already excessively checking every time I go to the bathroom... Also, CAR isn't really for those of us with LC.
It isn't? I have never gotten that impression in any of my stays (all with LC(s)). I've seen LCs mentioned before.
To the OP, I was wondering about this earlier in the week. I am game!
I used to be active in PAL and there was a discussion about keeping CAR for those without LC. And they started a sub thread for subsequent pregnancies.

I almost want to say that there's fewer FTMs on CAR. LCs are mentioned on the board - I know the culture is trying to protect ladies on CAL so there's no mention of LCs there.

I don't think that's how it is now. There was an etiquette thread over there a few months ago about putting LC warnings in and the vote went that they didn't need them (if I remember my lurking right). All the pregnant PAL-ers I know are at least sporadically on CAR now, and there are also LALC ladies there.

Does this include all loss mamas or those pregnant immediately following a loss? I've had a successful pregnancy since my MMC but PgAL fears don't go away

I would think all loss moms. It doesn't matter how long ago you experienced it, it never leaves you. *hugs*

Also guilty. I still can't believe I'm not getting my period.
MH & I were initially shocked (esp since we had an initial RE appointment the following week) but I guess b/c I'm not having MS (which I'm thankful for), it still hasnt sunk in yet. PgAL brain got the best of me yesterday, so I did a wondfo mid afternoon. Yep, still pregnant

I took another FRER over the weekend to calm PgAL brain and actually freaked myself out more, because it was really light. Then I realized it was the control line that was light, because all the dye went into the test line. So I think I'm done POAS.

Having been through a c/p, years of infertility treatments and now a SCH bleed, I might be Queen of the "toilet paper inspectors." I am up for a check-in. My PAIF/PAL brain is strong.
TTC #1 since August 2011 DH (32): SA is ok, slightly low morph, normal SCSA Me (32): Slightly low P4, hostile CM, carrier for CF, high NKC, High TNFa, heterozyogous mutated Factor XIII, and +APA October 2012-August 2015: 4 failed IUIs, 3 failed IVFs, 2 failed FETs w/donor embryos, 1 freeze all IVF, 1 Failed FET, and 1 cancelled FET November 2015: FET w/ DEm #3 Transferred 1 perfect 6AA blast
I'll keep the poll open until next week and maybe we'll start a weekly check-in either the week of 12/28 or after the New Year (week of 1/4)...let me know your thoughts! Also, anyone want to lead the check-in or want to do rotating check-in leaders, let me know!

I think starting after all the holidays would probably be better. Also, I much, much, much prefer check-ins that are open to being posted by anyone that may be on at the time. It makes me feel more involved and less like I'm merely participating if I could start a check-in, but don't have to start it, or wait for the "owner" of the check-in to post it.
I hope that makes sense instead of sounding like a rambly mess. D:
totally agree with Rama. I was the leader of a ticker change checkin once and felt really guilty if I couldn't get on first thing in the morning to post it. I am a big fan of check-ins that can be started by anyone
