the dumbest baby product I've ever seen was this (or something similar) at Buy Buy Baby.
Because you know, it's so hard to help your kid practice walking by holding their hands (?) or just let them learn to walk on their own timeline. You need a $30 baby gadget to help!
/ded Although I actually have a nursing school friend who decorates like this for her 5 year old daughter. And the girl is in lace dresses with bows bigger than her head (not an exaggeration) 90% of the time.

This is awful and just looks uncomfortable for the kid. I wonder what a physical or occupational therapist would think of this device. It looks so unnatural.

With the amount of them I see in real life and on FB, this may be an UO, but I hate hate hate it when parents put huge bows on little girls. It looks ridiculous and uncomfortable. I'm ok with small little headband bows, but I prefer nothing. They are just little babies - don't need extra accessorizing.

I don't mind them for pictures or whatever but some of the more ridiculous/frilly outfits I can't help but think how the hell can the kid play in that?

I wish that I would have taken a screen shot of the one I saw last night. It was a 2lb preemie with a giant flower on the top of her head, that was literally bigger than her tiny head. It stuck out like five inches from her forehead, and her head was like the size of a tennis ball. It was so horrible looking. I always feel bad for babies with huge bows, and it annoys me when the moms freak out if baby doesn't leave it alone and keeps taking it off, and mom keeps shoving it back on.

I will admit that I have both these in my Etsy favorites for if we end up Team Pink/Purple but they would be for pictures only. I think bows and lace are adorable, just not practical for an active kid.
