A message to all the teacher ladies....

Hi ladies,

I just wanted to send you amazing women the biggest of warm wishes and hugs before you start what is probably one of the longest weeks of your school year.  I hope it is a ton of fun with lots of those little funny moments that make teaching so worth it!

Remember that being mom's and living your lives makes you an even better teacher.  Even when you are frustrated or don't feel like you are doing a good job you are.  The fact that you worry about that means that you care.

Please take care of yourselves and I hope you get to enjoy a much deserved break!

budders, when is your last day? Here it's the 18th and that Friday that kids only go to school until noon.

I'm working all of this week except for Friday and next Mon-Tues. our last day is Tues. even as a sub it's nuts right now! These kids are so over it, and teachers are, too.

Good luck everyone! Shouldn't be too bad for me. It's exam week at the high school, so kids just want time to study, which I am down with. If I can make it through my concert tonight, the rest of the week will be a breeze!

Thank you Bluedaisy! I feel like I'm just treading water until Wednesday when finals start. Half days, holla!! The best part is how energized and ready to tackle the rest of the year I'll feel when we come back in January. I'm just hanging on to that until Friday. Hugs to the ladies who are working until the 23rd! I can't imagine trying to get the kids to do anything productive after this week.
