Let's go ladies. This is the place you can talk about all the craziness that comes with the dreaded two week wait. Phantom symptoms, implantation dips and possible spotting, what you are doing to make the time fly by, and much much more. Post as often or as little as you want. We are here for you. Chart stalks available upon request or if there is a link, we may look just to pass the time or out of curiosity. Gifs are also welcome!
GTKY: if you have to get out of the house fast, what's the thing that gets cut from your routine?
TTC since July 2014. CP March 2015. IVF #1 March 2016, 5R, 3M, 2F with ICSI. Transferred 2 on day 3. CP. Surprise BFP and then CP August 2016 (prep cycle for IVF). IVF #2: zero eggs retrieved IVF #3: 6R, 5M, 5F, 3 (2 8A and 1 11A) transferred, one "B" graded embryo frozen on day 5. BFP (at home 7dp3dt, confirmed 14dp3dt with 1552 beta) and U/S at 5w5d, 2 sacs and 2 yolks!
I'm still here, barely...but I think I'm out. My temp is low and I'm crampy. I'm supposed to go in for blood test tomorrow (12dpiui) but I might not even go in...AF might even be here by then. Bummed of course...only slight silver lining is that I'm flying to LA for a wedding this weekend and I would've been nervous going if I was KU. I hope some of you are coming into the TWW and we will have some holiday BFPs! GTKY: for me if I'm running late, I give up on my hair...it gets pulled into a ponytail (99% of the time it's in a ponytail or something similar).

I'm sorry, wannabmama. I still have my FX so hard for you.
I'm here now. FF says I'm 3DPO but I'm almost positive I'm actually 2DPO. If I put a dummy temp in for tomorrow it changes my crosshairs so I fully expect it to be corrected tomorrow. I plan on not temping after 5DPO this month because I find temping during the LP to just make me a little crazy, especially at the end. I plan on testing on 13DPO if no AF, which is Christmas day. I usually have an 11 day LP which means I am expecting AF on Christmas Eve. Yay. I really don't have a lot of hope for this cycle. I think the months of BFNs has worn me down and I'm starting to really think it's just not going to happen for us. I plan on calling my ob today and seeing if he'll see me at the beginning of the year. Hopefully I can get some testing and see if there is something going on.
GTKY: If I'm running late, I will cut putting on makeup. I don't wear a lot of makeup anyway (and very rarely wear any on weekends) so it's not terribly noticeable if I skip it.

I'm here now too…6 DPO. I quit temping after 4DPO. That has really made me nutty the last couple of cycles, plus I hate my thermometer takes like 3 minutes to give me a reading. I have absolutely no hope for this cycle. My son was adamant that MH and I not have any alone time during the FW. It was awful! We did manage to get in two times, but really not hopeful at all. The good thing is, I've been so busy, I haven't been focused on it at all. I had to look at my chart to even see CD and DPO. (This is also helped by not temping, thus not seeing the chart every day) Anyway, Fx for everyone else currently in TWW.
GTKY: It's definitely the hair -- up in a ponytail instead of washing and drying. It's slightly cheating since I have a ponytail a lot on days where I'm not running late, but then it's at least a clean ponytail.
I'm 8po and not optimistic. No symptoms other than wicked sore boobs, but I get that every cycle since my mc. Will probably wait to test until Saturday morning if I don't start pre-af spotting before then.
Sorry ladies, I've been a dirty lurker lately and haven't been around much. But I hope you don't mind if I come back to play!
I think I'm 3DPO today. I haven't been temping lately because my sleep has been crappy and my schedule is off so I'm never up at the same time. I'm completely going off of CM, because I also can never get positive OPK's either. Anyway, this is my first month on Clomid so we'll see if it makes any difference. Otherwise I'm off to the RE on January 5th and we'll see what path he wants us to take.
ETA: forgot the GTKY! I would say hair. I try to blow dry and straighten it for work but I can never get my butt out of bed in time. So pony tails it has been lately!
Best of luck ladies! FX for more BFP's up in here!

I just made an appointment for January 11 to go see my ob to discuss testing. I could have gotten in next week but I decided to wait until after this cycle ends since I'm already in the TWW. Now I have no idea what to expect at the appointment.

sleepymonkey, have you had any testing done previously? I think the standard is to do some blood work to test hormone levels, send you for an HSG and have your H do a SA. That's what my OB did for me when i was 32 and TTC previously. This time she just tested hormones again and recommended I meet with a RE. GL at your appointment. FX you won't even need it.

summergirl1211, I have never had any testing. I was very lucky and conceived DD on cycle 2 so this is very new to me. I'm a bit nervous about the thought of an HSG because I have heard it can be painful.

In my experience the HSG was very painful, but mostly because I had a blocked tube and they tried extra to get past the blockage. Turns out my tube never formed correctly. But even though it was painful, it didn't last long at all. Like less than 5 minutes total. And it was very, very worth it since it helped me and my RE know what needed to be done fertility wise.
ETA: I would say the pain is similar to a long painful contraction if that helps at all. You'll be just fine!

summergirl1211, That is helpful - thanks. I figure it can't be more painful than my induction/breaking my water. That was the worst pain I have ever felt and I survived that.

sleepymonkey my HSG was a little painful but it is over really quick! I'm super sensitive, though...definitely take Tylenol or Advil if you can.
How's the TWW going for anyone still in it?!
I had to go get blood test today bc no AF yet (only 13 or 14 dpo, 14dpiui) but I'm traveling this weekend so the doc wanted me to come in just to be safe. My temps are at Arctic levels so there's no way, but I'll feel better knowing for sure before I leave, too, I guess. Plus...even though it will be two months before IVF probably, my insurance requires a blood test after an IUI before they'll allow the IVF stuff to start, which is just funny to me...uh, I think after two months it would be pretty clear this one didn't work, no?!?

TWW is going slow. The first part of the TWW is always frustrating for me. It's too late to do anything about trying to get pregnant but it's really too early to start boarding the crazy train. I'm 5DPO and my boobs hurt worse than usual. Of course the crazy lady in my gets a little excited but then I just remind myself that 5DPO is way too early for any kind of pregnancy symptom. Plus my pre-AF symptoms have been getting progressively stronger the past few months. I was planning on not temping the rest of the cycle but I don't know if I can do it. As much as temping annoys me, I really like to have the information.

sleepymonkey I totally agree on that phase of the TWW being frustrating! I also considered actually not temping at all next month just for a break...but I know it will drive me crazy. Maybe at least in the TWW...maybe...

I've been too busy to really focus on it too much. I'm 9DPO today, and my boobs have been hurting for a couple of days. The real test will be if they are still hurting by Monday. When they stop, that's my indicator that AF is about 3 days away. I am not temping in the TWW this cycle, and I'm loving it. My temp doesn't drop until the day AF arrives, anyway; so, it just keeps me on the crazy train that much longer when I temp. My boobs are the true indicator. I have so little hope for this cycle I haven't even had the "what ifs" or "maybes" creep in my head yet. We'll see how the next few days go I guess.

I'm 6DPO today and just counting the days until I can test (although spotting usually comes before I can even test lately). Since I wasn't temping I'm totally guessing on my dates and hoping I'm right. I need to get back on the temping train next month. I just know I won't be able to test until Christmas Eve and I'll likely be super disappointed again.
I am totally not in the TWW, I have been having some o pain so I folded and did an opk and got a smiley face this morning. Normally I o 2-3 days after the smiley face so hopefully I will be here officially by Monday.
Regarding the HSG sleepymonkey, mine this past week was super easy compared to mine last year. When I did it last year I had the block left tube and it was awful, but since the tube is gone and my right is still open it was only a little pressure. The uncomfortable part for me this time was the doctor inserting the speculum. He was very gentle but it took him forever to get it right and he keep having to turn it so he could see my cervix, the silver one did not work so he switched to the clear one.
So I caved and poas on Thursday evening and got two strong lines at 11dpo. I am cautiously optimistic after my 8 week loss in July. I feel a bit like an a-hole announcing since this was my first cycle posting on this board, but I lurked for a long time before that and found a lot of comfort in following other's journeys and seeing some successes here. I wish all of you the best of luck on your ttc journeys. This stuff is not for the faint of heart!

Congratulations, mamafesto! I am always happy to see a lady from TTC>35 get her BFP, no matter how long she's been here. I hope you have a great 9 months!
