Julie will be having an IVF consult here next month. We are going to try to see what our insurance covers, how the medication is covered, etc etc. our provider is in-network so we always get a lot of discounts through that, and all of medication is covered under our health coverage so all the meds SHOULD be covered if we go to an in-network pharmacy.

Still waiting for CD1 to show up. Supposedly it will be this week. This is my last IUI unless my ovaries start producing multiple follicles, in which case, it will be up to the RE to decide to go one more round or skip ahead to IVF. Kass and I discussed that as far as we will go with me is one round of IVF. She will start getting tested once we get to our first duty station.

We had a meeting with the REs office today to put things in order for me to start trying to carry TTC#2. I really like the new RE so far. She seems super great. She was really encouraging about my weight loss. She is taking a pretty proactive and aggressive approach (well...more aggressive than the OB we first used). I'll go in for my baseline ultrasound around the 26th-28th of December. Of course my period is set to start on Christmas...I was so nervous about this appointment (like losing sleep/sick to my stomach nervous) but it seems like it will be okay (well...so far so good).
I'm benched this cycle due to a cyst found at my first ultrasound last week. My RE wants to see what it looks like next month before putting me on high doses of the drugs.
I'm excited to have found her though, she's awesome so far. I'm actually ok with taking this cycle off since I've been super sick and I can now drink at all the holiday parties without worrying.

Hey y'all! I haven't been here much lately-- I think I'm kind of depressed around TTC at the moment. Trying to get my positive attitude back. I'm on track for IVF in early January, set for my baseline on 12/30, and to start stimming on 12/31.
I just ordered my drugs. Just a hair under $6,000. Phew! No insurance coverage, and low reserve, so we're going full blast. I also landed a big fat loan, and hopefully won't have to use all of it, but it's there.
rikkiandjulie, I'm glad you have some insurance coverage!
kekaellypula, we're also just committing to own round of IVF with me, and then we're looking at my wife's ovaries, either for her to carry or for partner IVF (which honestly appeals to me a lot, if we can afford it).

klake42, I would much rather do partner IVF with my eggs and her uterus. So I'm hoping that my ovaries respond enough for IVF.
NY State requires coverage for a lot of fertility. My insurance gets charged over $10,000 a month for the meds and I only have to pay $94 which is AMAZING!!!

No, it's a chemical confirmed by super low beta number only 15. I would never have even known had I not taken a test yesterday bc I thought it was implantation, it was just so so so light. But I'm In full blown period mode now.

I'm so sorry. That happened to us as well in the past. Be kind to yourself.

Damn it. Sending you hugs. I had one of those in the summer and it's a mindfuck for sure.

Thanks everyone. I'm doing okay, really. It's just good to know that I CAN get pregnant. My HCG is already down to 9, so should be zero by tomorrow. I'll get a blood test by Friday just to be sure, but good to go next cycle for sure.

I'm so sorry to hear this. Take good care of each other.

So my RE called its officially a chemical pregnancy, I had an HCG of less than 2, She thinks the egg tried to implant RIGHT as my period started which created one light positive, and low beta number, if I had gotten a beta test earlier in the day on Tuesday it probably would have been higher.
Anyways, she asked that I start Letrazole today, because it's the third day of a real period, and that should help me ovulate sooner, and give me a longer Leuteal Phase.
Anyone have any experience with Letrazole? Will I ovulate sooner?

I took it for two cycles and did feel like I ovulated just a little bit sooner than my other cycles. The best part was no side effects for me though! Didn't get a BFP either though, but I wasn't being monitored yet.

I've been hanging around the 3T IF board lately, but thought I'd post over here too this week.
We had our embryo transfer today and everything went well. We'll go for a beta on the 28th and get our PGS results around the same time. The study we're prevents getting the results until after the first FET.
