I have a snow day today! Instead of going to school, I'm going to work with H and will grade papers and do lesson plans while he works. Really, I'm just being his chauffeur. He doesn't do well driving in stressful conditions.
Guys I finally get my office this week by the end of the week. I'll believe it when I see it but I am so freaking happy to no longer be a traveling nomad at work.
Also h and I are going to red lobster for dinner. Cheddar biscuits get in my belly.

Another work day with nothing to do. Ugh. I'm trying to come up with things to pass the time like walking laps of my floor (exercise) and cleaning out my shelf in the -20C freezer. Really exciting stuff over here.

I wish I was in your position. I have been so busy at work wrapping up the year. I'm forcing myself to post here today, which is dangerous because I won't want to log off. LOL.

I wish I had nothing to do at work. I'm doing some job searching from the couch right now. It sucks because I love my company and my benefits are fantastic but I feel stagnant in my career.

I'm counting the minutes to Mexican and margaritas onesweetworld !!
ceejay I have nothing to do, either...time is creeping so slowly. I am doing a training that really doesn't need to be fancy at all (and in fact my boss will hate anything gimmicky I do...) but I'm so bored I'm teaching myself power point tricks to use. I haven't used power point much in my life so it's like starting from scratch. It's useless work to do and I can't really bill client for it...but at least it gives me something to do!

I was so behind in my lab notebooks and other odds and ends that I rushed through everything in the last couple weeks. Then I finished so much faster than I thought I would and realized that I was out of things to do for the rest of the year because all of my projects have already wrapped up.
So now I'm just twiddling my thumbs and trying to make it look like I'm not just spending my entire work days on TCF and online shopping until the end of the year...
