Has anyone heard of Pregnitude?

My husband brought this home last night. Its a powder that ment to help according to the box: Promote regular Ovoluation, regular menstrual cycles and egg quality. And im just kinda iffy on if its a good idea or not. It's a mix of folic acid and Myo-Inositol (i dont even know what that is but I'm looking it up).

Im searching google and so far I haven't come across any horror stories but still kinda iffy. I know DH is just trying to do what he can to help I'm just not sure if this is a good thing or not. I am always very cautious of any pills or things im taking so along with talking to a doctor (before I start taking it because I'm a worry wort that way) I thought I'd ask you fine ladies for insite and advice.

Hmm I've never heard of that one. Idk. I'm like you, wary of anything that isn't just a regular vitamin.

I thought it was just folic acid and Myo-inositol. It would be cheaper to buy them separately probably if you wanted to start taking Myo-inositol. Like most supplements, it is probably best practice to talk to your Dr before taking it, but totally anecdotal story here: my Dr said Myo-inositol is fine, it might improve egg quality (then again it might not), but it is unlikely to do any harm if taken in appropriate dosage (I have no preexisting health concerns, other than Unexplained IF).

I have heard of it and would not take it. I think a better plan is prenatals and ensure you're getting enough folic acid.

I've heard of it (if I'm thinking of the right ad) and that ad made it seem that if you take this you will get pregnant. Rubbed me the wrong way and seemed very gimmicky

butlerfan, you might be thinking of preg.prep. One of their reps found the 3T board recently. Also very gimmicky.
