Good morning! It's my birthday and my husband is watching the baby while I go to the gym. We're going out for Indian for dinner, and then I'll probably have a bottle of wine. I hope everyone has a good Saturday.
Oh my god. Why do my coworkers not understand that our computes are not supposed to be logged off? They say on them specifically do not log off on them.
angnjon I buy really thick chicken breasts from the meat department case instead of prepackaged, it's cheaper per pound and then I cut them in half and double the amount and freeze them.
What's the price difference? I never thought to look in the case!
At my store it's 1.50 per pound but the breasts are HUGE and boneless skinless. They are nothing like the prepackaged breasts, sometimes I'm able to filet 3 pieces from one. So even if I spent $10 on 6lbs I'm getting more than the package stuff since I cut them in half.

darwinfish I think it's just our area where they can get away with horseshit like that.
I can't meal plan. I mean, sure, I can, but DH is a fucking bottomless pit and if he sees there's food left, he wants to eat it. So I can't really plan for much leftovers. He eats way more than a normal serving and then is unhappy about being overweight.
Does anyone know how STD affects your taxes? Is it included in the W2 from my employer, or will I get a separate form for it?
I've already done our taxes, but I'm not sure if I'm still missing that or if it's included in my W2. I'm going to ask HR on Monday, I was just curious in the meantime.

With my last pregnancy I got a corrected W2 a couple weeks after I got the one that didn't include STD.

Sounds like one of our neighbors is getting it in. Hardcore. It's making me jealous. DH tried to get it in last night but the baby was fussing in his crib and hadn't actually gone to sleep yet, plus DH was pissing me off because he was acting like he was superdad for having been with the baby for 10 hours yesterday. But now I really want to get it in and don't want to give in to him.

DD skipped all her naps yesterday and was a fussy baby. She thankfully slept from 9:30-9:15, fed, and fell back asleep. It's 11:10 and she's still out. Sleep baby sleep! Even though she was only awake for 15 mins, would this be her morning nap? I mean, whatever I'll take it.
I just got DD1 to put her own dirty diaper in the trash. Rather gleefully too I might add. I'm so going to use this for help with DD2 in the future. Why didn't I ask earlier!?

Meal planning makes our evenings so much easier. We write the choices out on our dry erase board and either of can cook dinner. Saves money and time. We spend about $100 per week on groceries in a high col area but that includes 5 to 6 dinners and lunches and seven breakfast for both of us.
@apk. It depends on if you pay taxes on the cost of the STD. Also, where did you STD check come from . Many employers use a third party provider for disability - that would be a separate W-2.

Trip to hair salon was a success. DH and I both went and C was content to stay in her carrier the entire time. It helped that we had stations next to each other so we could put her carrier in between us.

Awesome! What'd you do to your hair? I'm dying to get mine done.
