With DS2 I would go back and forth between not being able to go and...the other extreme. For whatever reason, vegetables were a major problem. It became tremendously better after about 15 weeks. Sorry, it's normal

It's so normal that someone on PgAL once described it as "morning sickness of the read end." I had it for several days after my BFP and since it had been my major symptom I was surprisingly disturbed when it disappeared.

For the week before my positive i was so constipated, it was awful, I get stopped up easy but this was bad even for me. Now since Monday I have been tye opposite, not quite diarrhea but close. I blame it on the progesterone I have been taking since then. I was afraid the constipation would get worse with it, but so far so nope! Weird, bodies are weird and pregnant bodies even weirder.

I've been backed up since my first beta! I'm calling my RE's office to see what's safe to take, I've been drinking water like crazy hoping that will help.
My friend, when she was pg with her first child, had the same problem and her OB told her to go get a cheeseburger from McDonald's (my friend never eats that). Well it worked, so I might try that tonight. I'm desperate.

OMG I was practically in tears last night because I haven't shit in 8 days and I'd give anything for a nice big poo right now! Called the doc yesterday and she told me Metamucil and Colace softener so I took those last night and still nothing. Hopefully by tonight something happens even if it's not solid....
youdontsay, I have thought about that...dunkin donuts bacon egg & cheese on a bagel always gives me an instant poo so I'm like should I get one of those? But then I'm too scared that it will just add to the top of the backup that's already there...?
Sorry everyone, hope we all get relief of both kinds of problems!

It's been 9 days since I shit now....3 days taking metamucil and colace and STILL nothing. My stomach is so fucking huge and solid and uncomfortable. have to bite the bullet tomorrow and get some sort of laxative.

Oh friend. I've been there. Take something! You'll feel better!
