Finally the weekend and my H is around to help with the girls!
I'm currently trying to get myself out of bed to make some coffee. My H got up super early with the baby and I am so glad. I swear on the weekends we both just pretend to be asleep to see who will get up first.

We just did this (pretending to sleep to see who wins). I lost.

I forgot to shower yesterday. I woke up this morning and thought "DidI shower yesterday?" Nope and the thought never even crossed my mind. This needy child is making me forget personal hygiene.
Every Saturday morning I get to work a little early. If the parking lot is full, I stay in my car until I'm borderline late. If it's empty, I go ahead and get started. It's a used car lot today. I'm drinking my latte in the car until 8:59 and 30 seconds.
I forgot to pump before bed last night and now I feel like I'm going to explode. Good news though is that it's only on one side bc K ate at 6 on one side and then we both went back to sleep. She is still asleep almost three hrs later. This is actually glorious. I can't remember the last time I slept this late.

Also I'm just trying the new chai flavored coffee I got. Amazing!! I've never had a flavored coffee that actually tastes like the flavor before adding creamer

I have a grump for a baby today. She didn't want to sleep last night and hasn't wanted to eat much today. It finally occurred to me that her gums were probably hurting. Got some tylenol in her and she finally drank a whole bottle. I feel awful that I didn't give it to her sooner.
Now I'm hiding out in the bathroom to get some peace and quiet. I guess I should turn the shower on so DH doesn't get suspicious.
On the bright side, we're eating out tonight and getting our taxes done.
I got my bi-weekly shop done. I took Gidget and my H stayed home with the baby. She was such a good girl and we got everything in record time. I'm working on making treats/snacks for tomorrow!

PSA.... Don't bring 5 month baby to a fondue place! We looked like the worst parents EVER! LO was happy and smiley the whole time but everyone kept giving us dirty looks. The waitress even said as we were leaving "this isn't a place for babies" but she did say he was cute.

Eff them. How bitchy of the waitress to actually say that. Then again, you are in a country that is not known for their politeness and love of Americans.

I still don't understand what differentiates a place for babies and a place not for them. If your kid isn't making a scene then why do people care so much? Does a smiley baby make their overpriced food taste worse?

Right??!?! We spent a good amount of money there! I just think people without kids think you should just stay home or get a babysitter. Babysitters are expensive and you have to find a good one which takes awhile. My baby is easy enough to take with us so why waste the extra money.

I feel like this today:
I wish I could catch a break from these viruses. Normally I get one cold a year. Now I don't remember the last time I felt well; just got a new cold two days ago. LO has it too but so far it is just a runny nose for him. The short naps are really getting to me today for some reason. I think it's because he doesn't want to cuddle anymore and I end up having to lay him down and let him fuss it out for about 5 minutes. I'm feeling a lot of postpartum body hate too today...ugh

I'm sorry! Thats crazy! What is with people?! Meth lab=not for babies. Nightclub=not for babies. Other than that, if LO is not being inappropriately disruptive and isn't miserable about being there, what's the problem? And how is it anyone's business?

Seriously? Was there a sign on the door that said " no babies allowed"? I'm pretty sure I would have told her and everyone else to go fuck themselves. Parisians sound like assholes.
I wish I could bold things but I'm on tapatalk. You are so right, Parisians are complete assholes. If you go anywhere else, people are more friendly but Parisians walk around like they are gods gift. Instances like this make me miss home!

Wait, why can't babies come to fondue? It isn't for families? It isn't for fun?
