I was dumb and didn't read the return policy before ordering, so I realize this is completely my own fault. You can't return Loft maternity stuff to the stores, it has to be mailed back. Fine, Gap is the same way. However, unlike Gap, which lets you mail back for free, you have to pay $8 to mail back Loft returns. Guess who will remember to read return policies more carefully in the future?!

Well shit. I have a pair of maternity jeans that I was planning to take back to the store to exchange for a smaller size... Now I'm just going to buy a smaller size and keep both. #lazy

Exchanging might be the exception for the shipping fee-- the website is unclear, might be worth asking.
Thanks for the heads up. I have a maternity dress from Old Navy that's too large. Was thinking of returning. I'll read the fine print before wasting the trip.
