Okay guys, I promised I'd start this thread yesterday but I clearly got distracted. So here it goes:
1. What have you done in the past week to keep your body moving?
2. What are your fitness goals for this upcoming holiday week?
P.S. Yes, chasing after toddlers, vacuuming your house, and walking to the mailbox count! Please don't feel like you need to be running marathons to participate. The point of this thread is to help motivate us regardless of what level we're at!
Okay, since I know I'm going to procrastinate on my exercise plans for today I will start at least by answering this...
1. I did my stairmaster on Sunday and Thursday for 40 minutes each.
I get a really good workout on that thing, sweat and feel pretty glorious afterwards. I actually just bought it for $50 on Craigslist a month ago. Prior to that I had a $50 a month gym membership and the only thing I used was their stairmaster, so it has already paid for itself. For some bizarre reason, outside of walking, it's the only form of exercise I can be motivated to do on a semi consistent basis.
2. Plans for this week are to stairmaster today and aim for every other day this week. If I can get in twice a week I'm happy with it. Will also take some walks with DS.
FWIW I just got back into doing anything fitness related at all in the past month.
1. I jogged today. 3 miles, slowly. My daily commute also involves 30 min of walking 4-5 days/week. Otherwise I haven't done anything!
2. My goal this week is every-other-day too. Either a 3 mile jog or a hike (I'll be in NH so we're hoping to make it up to the top of at least one mountain! It will sort of depend on weather).
Walking is such great exercise and the only thing I was able to maintain all the way through my last pregnancy. I used to joke that DS needed to be walked/bounced so much as an infant because I did so much walking during my pregnancy.
1. I have been dancing with DS for about 20-30 minutes each evening. I'm definitely winded by the end!
2. Since I finally have a few days off this week, I definitely plan on taking advantage of that time by getting outside and walking around. I miss taking my dog for walks (DH does that now because of my schedule), so I'll definitely do some of that.

1. What have you done in the past week to keep your body moving? ...toddler chasing....Christmas shopping.....I had sexy times with my DH, that definitely counts as cardio right?
2. What are your fitness goals for this upcoming holiday week? I have some prenatal videos I want to do at least twice - but aiming for 3 times throughout the week. And I also want to actually go for a walk outside, at least 3 times next week for at least a block with DD in her stroller or wagon or if she seems keen on walking herself.
1) I've taken the dog for a brisk walk every day. Other than that, not a whole lot.
2) Since it's a holiday week, it will be hard to do much more. At least while we're at my parents house I'll have to walk the dog every time she has to go potty since they don't have a fence. So multiple brisk walks with the dog it is!
