I need to stop watching BBC bc I keep wanting to go to the chip shop but then I realize the nearest one is 15 minutes away
Is that where they will deep fry anything? I saw on food network once that they opened one in Brooklyn NY and they would deep fry pizza, candy bars, anything you wanted! It had British flags all over so I have no idea if it's like a chain in England or if this guy just ripped off the name lol

Not a chain, just a generic name for tiny places that make fish and chips dirt cheap and usually sell it wrapped in newsprint or parchment. They usually sell crisps and sweets too, and sone of them do other fried goodies like sausages or Mars bars

Oh yuuuum! How long have you lived over there/ are you originally from there?

Nope, I don't live there (if I did, the chip shop would be closer!!) And not from there. Just spent enough time there to be wistful
Update: I bought some pickles. I ate like 4. I can't decide if I want more. But it would be ridiculous to eat a whole jar of pickles in one day, right?

That's a looooooot of salt. It's the only thing that'd steer me away from a whole jar. ...if I ate pickles.

Nothing sounds good to me these days, but I did have a huge craving for pickles last week. Soooo good!
I miss food so much. I have to force myself to eat at all. Sad panda! I asked DH to buy me ice cream last week. I served myself a huge bowl, and I ended up choking it down like it was gruel. What the heck? I've never not wanted ice cream in my entire life.

I ate six dill spears Thursday night. I glanced at the salt but damn, a little extra salt one day vs vomiting... MOAR pickles. I told my hubs that I'm such a cliche right now.

Did you guys know there is PICKLE FLAVORED POPCORN at Trader Joe's right now???
It's my life along with their nacho cheese tortilla chips.
Real talk tho - I am having no cravings, no food aversions, and no actual symptoms beyond tiredness, insane bloating and a bit of cramping. This is so different from my first pregnancy, where I had to lie down all the time in the specially crafted "nap pad" I built in the corner of my office, gagged repeatedly at the scent of anyone cooking anything in the microwave, and could only eat oatmeal.

I feel like your last pregnancy description is me most of the time. They say every pregnancy is different though

For my first pregnancy I could only eat fried food, buttered or "juiced" as in drenched in pickle juice. After a week of bringing this to work my coworker called me out for being pregnant.
