I woke up with a sore throat (thanks in-laws!) and have been googling pregnancy and colds/flu/strep all morning. I think I need to be banned from google before I convince myself that this cold is going to have dire consequences of some sort. I am finding that anxiety and early pregnancy don't mix very well.
I know cramping is normal in pregnancy. I had bad cramps the first 2 weeks after my BFP. I am now almost 8 weeks and I've been cramping a lot since last night. I've been trying to take it easy and drink a lot of water. It's just making me nervous. Has anyone else had cramping start back up again after it had stopped for a while?
I was pretty crampy yesterday. I hadn't cramped in over a week.
Welp I just found out the almost hard way that I need new brakes. Accident two cars in front of me, trI'd to brake and nothing happened. My brain kicked in and I moved into the turn lane and coasted around the accident then managed to stop. That's at least a year off my life. I still have to drive to my doctor for my blood work. I'm closer to there than home.
Please describe to us your first encounter with ginger ale.
It doesn't taste like what I was expecting. I don't know what I thought it was this whole time! Why haven't I been drinking this forever?! The second those tiny bubbles hit my stomach I started feeling better. I could probably even eat if I came up with something that sounds good.
Last night I started being violently ill. I was up all night puking and have been sick all morning. Can't keep Gatorade, ginger ale or even water down
I was never sick with my first, just felt nauseas. Is this "morning sickness" or do you think it's something different like the flu or food poisoning? I didn't eat that great over the weekend and no fever. I'm 7 weeks
Edit: I know you're not doctors, guess I'm just looking for others experiences
7 weeks is normal for morning sickness. Last pregnancy I had the flu and it was like that, but only for 1 day. If it lasts longer than 24 hours, please call.
For some reason I thought this was too early for morning sickness (5 weeks). I didn't really have ms with my other pregnancies, but now I just feel hungover all the time without the fun night before. Yuck.
DD and I just took a joint nap. Love that she's a good napper when I feel so gross. It's really different being pregnant when you can't just lay around all day!

My MS hit me like a ton of bricks at 4 weeks. I definitely don't think it's too early.

I started feeling sick the day after I took a test, so I kind of thought it was all in my head somehow.
My mom is watching DD1 for me this afternoon (since she doesn't nap) so I could wrap presents while DD2 is napping. I got over 30 presents wrapped! My stress level just went way down. My mom also offered to wrap any gifts I had left, but I don't have too much more to do. She's the best.

I just attempted to wrap with a 14 month old. A few chunks of paper were eaten. Some were put in the dog's water

Haha yes, I know that so well! Whenever I try to wrap with the girls around, the gifts end up a crumpled mess, usually with holes in the wrapping somewhere.
I guess this is a confession: DH did all the wrapping
My husband offered because I've been so sick lately, but I think I would have had to claim that their gifts were wrapped by an elf in training or something. He tries, but wrapping is just not one of his skills.
