Well, H's alarm went off at 5, and apparently now when I wake up, I'm awake. Which is weird for me because I am NOT a morning person and I am generally quite talented at falling back asleep. In the meantime, H hit snooze (twice) and is still asleep next to me. But I am wide awake!
I'll join you this morning. I've always had pretty bad insomnia. If I wake up after about 3:30 am, that's it, I'm up for the day. DH is a night person, so we figure it will be helpful when baby comes, since one of us is always awake!
I wake up every morning at 5am for work. I had a hard time sleeping last night though, and the line to get coffee at Dunkin was crazy so I'm waiting to get to work until I get coffee.
I can't believe Christmas is this week! We met up with my parents yesterday to exchange gifts, I couldn't wait to open mine. My parents bought me a bread maker which is weird since I never expressed a desire to bake bread, but what the hell, I'll try it.
Does pregsomnia hit this early? Gettin' real tired of being awake extra hours the past couple nights. I can't even blame my toddler for keeping me awake, as she is out like a light!

I'm having no trouble falling asleep, but I definitely dont sleep as well and I wake up earlier.
Yeeep, dd gets up at 5:30 for a bottle and hubs usually gets up and then I usually sleep until 7:30-8 but no. As soon as I hear her now I am wide awake!
I am suddenly obsessed with bagels and cream cheese. I NEVER eat food like this. I don't even like cream cheese all that much. Hopefully, my MS will settle so I can get a workout in this morning.

It usually hits me before a bfp but I am pronr to insomnia anyway
I might sound like a total nutter right now but I could almost swear I can feel the fundus already , and have been having BH after sex. Most likely way too early for that but I could swear

I was woken before my alarm by the cat hacking/puking. Yet H & I searched the house and could not find the puke anywhere so she must have been just dry heaving even though it REALLY sounded like a puke... hopefully we don't find it like a month later....
jamjoyful, omg how can you normally not like cream cheese?! Cream cheese is the only reason I eat a bagel, I always put like a entire tub on one bagel hahah. Although I gave it up last year along with sour cream to improve my cholesterol so that sucks

I understand. I have been thinking it with some of my cramps. BH start earlier in every pregnancy. As the owner of an irritable uterus I am so not excited.

I don't really eat bagels. Sometimes, I'll buy the bagel thins and use them for sandwiches at lunch. I'm not big on breakfast so I usually just drink coffee when I am not pregnant/nursing. Cream cheese tastes so good to me right now but I would typically go for more of a peanut/almond butter topping.

I was wondering if IU is the culprit here. Like after the thousands upon thousands of contractions I have had, it must be seriously strong
Good morning ladies. I'm currently trying to decide when I'm going to tell work. I'm a little stressed out. I work PT from home and split my job with my awesome co-worker. She is the nicest person ever, and I know she will be excited for me, but she covered my maternity leave last time (worked FT instead of PT) and I know it was a big inconvenience. And I learned I'm not eligible for FMLA so that has me a little worried too.
I'm up and at work. I woke up around 8 times to pee. Oh joy. And dc2london I will join the nutter club, I swear I feel the fundus as well, but most likely I'm just crazy.
I didn't sleep well at all last night, I was really anxious and nervous about this pregnancy. I was so excited to tell our parents on Thursday but now I don't want to tell anyone b/c I have this horrible fear of MC. I've never had a loss before, but my BFF had 2 before having her rainbow and my SIL had a loss this time last year. I know I'm not being 100% rational, but I'm worried b/c I don't "feel" pregnant, ie MS hasen't kicked in and that makes me worried... Is anyone else having crazy anxiety? Would it be crazy to run to the dollar store for cheepies to test a few more times? Ack, its gonna be a long 9 months...

I am sick and I'm still convinced it's all in my head. I say buy a couple more tests if it'll make you feel better.
We took advantage of the Target gift card deal yesterday. The first cashier tried to give us a hard time because we were trying to buy 380 dollars worth (80 for DD's teachers) and some for us. She claimed you could only do 300 per family. Thankfully customer service didn't care.
Who was it that is training to be a MW? Maybe she will know if fundal height is different with subsequent pregnancies
It's me! Good question, I'll admit I'm not that far into my training yet so I don't know... but I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case, uteruses definitely change after a delivery! Even so it seems VERY early to feel a fundus - I don't think it's usually palpable until about 12 weeks.
I'm now of course sitting in public palpating my own pubis... haha. I do feel something firm but it's my first pregnancy and I'm not even 5 weeks so I doubt it could be my fundus. Maybe what we're feeling is just abdominal muscles and ligaments tightening/changing shape?

Absolutely. It's usually one of my earliest symptoms. Blame hormones!
I'm at work but I don't feel like working. Lucky for me, none of the reports I need are working properly, so I can basically do none of the things I was supposed to do today. So zero guilt about being lazy.

I've been up since 6am. Went in for some repeat blood work to ease my mind about the spotting (hopefully that's what it does!), which I had again this morning. I'm praying it's just from the progesterone supps that I have to stick up there 3x a day. I seriously just read through the entire PAIF spotting thread for reassurance.
MH is up working from home today, but my parents are still asleep! Lazy bums. I need someone to wake-up and entertain me.
