1. Today is nesting day at our house! I currently have a load in the wash of my nursing bras, nursing tanks, and some of the leggings and sleep shirts that I plan to live in post partum for a couple of weeks. My plan is to start packing my hospital bag later today once this load of wash is done.
2. J is currently bringing up bins of infant clothes from the basement, and we are going to sort through them and start washing the things we want to have ready immediately for Dosey to wear. We have about 6-7 new outfits that we have purchased over time for Dosey (which I am looking at now, and I forgot how darn cute they are!!!) and the rest of Dosey's immediate wardrobe will be hand-me-downs. I hope to was all the 0-3 month stuff we plan to use right away and start putting it away later today. In the kids' room (I guess it isn't just William's room anymore!) we have a big dresser and a tall armoire (no closet), and we have cleared out 2 drawers for Dosey clothes. I am really excited to get things ready and put away!
3. Yesterday we bought our new infant car seat. We had a graco travel system for William (that I secretly hated), but the graco seat didn't fit with an adaptor into our new double stroller. So we decided to sell the travel system we had and buy a new infant seat. I am glad we did. We ended up getting about 75% of the price of our new Chico Keyfit for the old travel system, so I really only paid about $30 out of pocket, and we have a new infant seat that we really like and fits with our double stroller. Win!
4. We also just sold our behemoth of a baby swing (the lady who bought it just picked it up!). It was gigantic and took up sooo much room in our playroom. J found a new model that she really likes that is half the size and easily folds up so we can put it behind the couch in the playroom when it is not in use. We sold the one we had for $50, and the new one J wants is $70 at Target, so I also think that is just fine. We will buy the new one next week on our baby shopping day that we have planned.
5. I felt pretty crappy yesterday afternoon. We went to the mall and for no known reason I got really lightheaded at lunch and felt a little bit like I was going to pass out. It passed after about 30 mins of drinking lots of water and walking around slowly, but I was really worried that I might faint for a little bit. I had that feeling again this morning when I got out of the shower. I am wondering if I am having the same issue I had post delivery with William where my blood pressure kept dropping and I kept passing out. I will mention it to my OB on Monday.
6. Santa attempt #2 with William was another epic fail. Oh well. No Santa pic this year. I am OK with that.
7. We did finish up our last couple of Christmas present errands at the mall yesterday, so now we just have 3-4 more things to wrap and we are ready. William's kitchen set is all put together and in the dining room with a blanket over it, so we won't have as much to do on Christmas Eve. Things are starting to come together, so I am feel WAY relieved about life stress at the moment.
8. I am looking forward to next week. We are planning a huge Costco and Target trip with J's mom. We plan to stock up on diapers, wipes, toilet paper, paper towels, health & beauty aid stuff for us, etc. so that we don't have to run out for anything for a while after baby is born. We are also planning to get our new baby swing that day and a few other last minute items that we want for baby. OK, I'm starting to get excited for this kiddo...
9. We made an appointment for a haircut for William on January 3rd. It was the earliest appointment we could get. He needs a trim pretty badly...
10. So does the dog, I need to remember to make a grooming appointment for her today. Happy Tuesday!
1. I dropped butter on my jeans today and it stained them.
2. I already made our meal planning list for next week and need to grocery shop before Friday since I won't have time this weekend.
3. For a split second I was considering taking both kids to the grocery store on Christmas eve day and then laughed.....hell no, bad idea!
4. We meaning my wife, needs to put together R's train table on Thursday night. I hope L cooperates and goes down easy for us.
5. We didn't take our kids to see Santa. I don't feel bad at all about that. We've barely talk about Santa at our house anyway. He's currently obsessed with Elmo so maybe I should tell him Elmo brings the gifts.
6. My smarty pants wife has been looking up recipes for winter nightcaps. I'm all over this idea.
7. Our next home reno project is our dining room. Next week we are having wainscoting installed and painting the top half a navy blue.
8. And we're buying a new dining room set. Our dining room table is over 10 years old and very sad looking.
9. I'm working a 9 hour day on Saturday and it'll be my wife's first time alone with both kids for this long. I'm nervous for her. It's not easy.
10. I love sleeping with Liney cub. He is so snuggly and sweet. It's the best waking up next to him. We said that we'd put him in his crib at 6 months which means only 2 more months of this:(
1. Winter break! Watching Friends! Right now its the episode where Monica is trying to pick a sperm donor, because she wants to be a single mom. Makes me think about the whole process. 2. Waiting with baited breath to hear back about my second beta. Ring phone ring! 3. We are going to see Zoolights tonight! I'm gonna buy hand and toe warmers and maybe wear my snowpants. It's supposed to be 30 degrees. 4. I am considering eating some more pickles. But then I think I would have eaten a jar of pickles (not a small one) in 24 hours, and that's maybe a little silly? 5. I'm hungry. 11:40 is close enough to lunchtime, right? 6. Ring phone, ring!!!! 7. I'm sad, there have been a bunch of early losses on my BMB. My poor friends. :-( 8. My dad is getting remarried today. I'm cranky about it. 9. I went to a party wearing bright red christmas lips and it was awesome and I felt like a babe. Plus, not gonna lie, my rack is killer right now. 10. Guys, it's gonna be 2016. Mind blown.
2. Looking forward to my parent's annual Christmas Eve party.
3. That means Clam Chowder, cheesy poppyseed potatoes, and old family recipe Italian Christmas cookies!
4. Our Christmas Day tradition is to see a movie since we have a big party the night before. We're going to see Joy, and I'm excited to see it.
5. I have no idea why, but I was wired until 2am and could not fall asleep. Somehow I'm still doing OK on half of my normal sleep.
6. I delivered most of my client holiday gifts on Saturday but still have a few left I plan get to today. Otherwise, they'll need to become New Years gifts
7. I bought mom some coloring stuff for Christmas, I hope she enjoys them for relaxing.
8. I think I'm going to try the PiperWai deodorant from Shark Tank, I'm trying to change all my beauty products to ones that are as natural as possible.
9. I'm hungry, but can't decide what to have for lunch, it's a real problem.
10. Hope everyone has a wonderful rest of the week!

1. I was crazy productive at work yesterday. Today? Notsomuch.
2. If it is going to be 65 degrees....I would like it to be sunny. 65 and rainy does nothing for me.
3. L wrapped all of the kids' gifts last night.
4. My taco salad for lunch was delicious. I have been really good about bringing lunch for the last few months. And I have only been getting coffee 1x/week. Nice savings.
5. I need to schedule the appt to get the trailer hitch put on my car (I bought a bicycle trailer for our family gift this year so we can go on family bike rides!)
6. I really should be spending the day cranking up the music and cleaning off my desk. I've had this open for hours....I am going to go work.
1. I really should have taken tomorrow off. I am STRESSED about all I have to do.
2. Our dog who is 7, has a bad paw and he seemed to aggravate it last night coming down the stairs. I felt awful for him, he was up 1/2 the night whimpering and was obviously in pain. We gave him the aspirin that the vet said we could but I don't think it really touched it. I'm hoping M can get in touch with the vet for something stronger. Usually when this happens he is fine a few hours later. It breaks my heart to see him in pain. We had a tough go round with the first dog we had together and I know he's not dying but it is brining back all the feels.
3. O is still totally enamored with her Christmas tree. We did not introduce her to Santa in a formal 'go sit on his lap' way but she has some books about Christmas and we walked by him at the mall. Everything is about Santa these days.
4. I got hired even before passing my certification exam yesterday by the company I had hoped to work for. I am excited but it's all just one more thing to be dealing with right now. They pay on a 1099 only so I am going to have to figure out the tax implications of that for me.
5. I invited my mom to come over to entertain O this afternoon while I hopefully wrap M's presents. I hate doing that because I hate asking for help but I am really overwhelmed. I can't believe that tomorrow is Christmas eve.
6. I am really looking forward to the next week off. I have so many plans. I always do this to myself, plan too much and then get overwhelmed. I keep saying that I am too busy to work full time
7. I know it's not very Christmassy (word?) but I am loving this warmer weather. It will snow soon enough I am sure but I am enjoying the warmth while it lasts.
8. Today is the last day that M works late! After the new year, her schedule changes and she will be working till 4:30 instead of 6. SOOOOO much better.
9. I got to work 30 minutes ago and I'm ready to leave already.
1. I got to meet my friends new twin baby girls today, and I just love them!!
2. Jo and I are the twins plus their older brothers guardians if anything were to happen to our friend and her wife.
3. I never want to have custody of them, but I do want to steal them away... They have 3, I'm sure they wouldn't notice one of the twins missing... lol
4. I can not believe its already Christmas Eve. Nuts!!
5. My Mom and I will be headed to a friends house for our traditional Christmas Eve get together. They are all Italians, so it's going to be a feast! Can't wait to ha e some zappoles. Yum!
6. This is going to be a weird Christmas. This will be the first Christmas at the house without my father, and Jo isn't even here since she's overseas. So it's just my Mom and I for Christmas morning. Good thing we will be busy all morning getting food ready for dinner at my aunts.
7. I wondering if we are going to do the normal peameal bacon and eggs or if it's going to be a 'fend for yourself'? We better sort that out in the morning.
8. I don't know what I got for Christmas. Usually I have an idea. I think my Mom got me a Fitbit HR.
9. I'm secretly hoping Jo mailed a gift to my Mom to wrap and put out Christmas Day. I told Jo not to worry as it's hard for her to do any shopping while she's deployed. But I do hope there is something.

I'm so late as it's far closer to next Tuesday but I can't sleep so I'm catching up here.
1. I've been MIA lately...I was so busy with getting ready for the holiday. We aren't done yet as Chris' parents are heading into town on Sunday. It's never going to end!!!
2. My parents are staying with us and I actually love it. They are helpful and great with H. I wish they would just move here already (they live 2 hours away and the plan is for them to relocate here).
3. We haven't really told anyone about our plan to TTC #2 but we've hinted at it a few times and the reaction has been less than welcoming. My cousin announced she was pregnant yesterday when my mom called my grandma and everyone was so excited. When I made a comment about how different the responses were, mom said "well this is her first, you have 3 under 3"...I only have one and my sister has 2...I take care of my nieces during the day but I only have 1 child...it kind of upset me and I'm sure it upset my sister...
4. Speaking of TTC, CD1 was yesterday and I'm getting my bloodwork on monday. The roller coaster begins again....
5. C is going to start taking testosterone mid-January. He hasn't told his parents yet. I have a lot of feelings about this but will hopefully be able to refrain from opening my big mouth about it.
6. C will also be going to London mid-January for work. I'll be alone with H for like 6 days...I'm not nervous about it, but it will sure be different!
7. My eating habits are atrocious right now...I've done really well for the past 6 months but Christmas has gotten me eating all the carbs...
8. I got some really cute clothes for Christmas...I'm excited to switch out some of my mom wardrobe!
9. My sister also got me a spafinder gift card...I am excited to use it!
10. I get to spend today putting my house back in order...all I really want to do is sleep but I apparently can't do that anymore...
