so what new baby stuff has come out since 2010/2011?

My son is 5 and I saved everything, so I have all the baby standards.  Clothes (of course may need to update based upon sex/season/sizes/etc), changing table, crib, baby bathtub, various waterproof pads, swing, bouncy seat, jumperoo, rock n play, pack n play, strollers, carriers, nosfrida, sophie la giraffe, etc etc etc.

But what new stuff has come out in the past 4-5 years that I don't know about?  Anything particularly exciting?  Educate me!

My LO really loved the mammaroo. I couldn't have made it through the past 16 months without my ergo, used it so much!

I'm not sure if this is new or not but Aden and Anais swaddle plus blankets. Best all purpose blanket and light weight which is great for summer. They are huge so easy to swaddle with and my 2 yo still uses them like a sheet in her crib.

So far I have all of these things other than the momaroo! We loved the woombie last go round. I'll definitely want to get at least one more pack of Aden and Anais blankets. I secretly want one of the $150 adult size aden and anais blankets to snuggle up in myself, but there is no way I can justify that expense!

This is random, but are you guys buying new bottles or just getting new nipples? We have Dr. Brown's bottles, I'm wondering if I should try these with the new baby to see if she likes them before getting a whole new pack (that I honestly don't even know if we need...)

littleducky, we found an awesome deal on a mamaroo on Craigslist when DS was born.

We also used the Halo sleep sacks til they were worn through. He hated being swaddled so these gave me the peace of mind that he was warm enough and gave him the freedom to move his arms and legs around.

I'm not sure.  I have a TON of bottles, even though DS hardly used them, mostly Tommee Tippee and Medela.  But they've been up in my attic, which gets REALLY hot during the summer, so I'm worried that perhaps the plastic has deteriorated. They're BPA free of course but who knows what chemical they contain that we don't know yet is dangerous.  I'll probably be ok with using them as long as I get new nipples.

so I am currently working on my amazon baby wish list (currently on private mode)... there is going to be more stuff than I was thinking! Plus I realized my infant car seat expires sometime in the fall or summer of 2016 (was originally purchased in fall 2010), so I'll need a new one of those, too. Lots of research to be done!

Hey, it's worth a try!  They might not notice the size.  Plus, you can always say that you thought it was a baby blanket and didn't realize the difference!

I got rid of all bottles and pacis. I figure they are cheap to replace and I would rather stray new with all food and germy type things. We used playtex drop ins and loved them last time but they've been discontinued so we may do the BRU knock offs or try something new. The pump, store, freeze, serve feature was awesome.

DH and I were talking about how we may be right up against this too or have to switch LO at 8 or 9 months which may be fine anyway! We have to check the dates!! And DSis just about to outgrow his britax boulevard too so we may be moving him soon too.

We're just going to get new nipples I think. We have a ton of bottles since DD was FF from the start (adopted) and we're kind of lazy. I might reuse some of the pacifiers since she really only used her wubbanub 90% of the time and I threw that one away after I cut it off the little stuffed animal, so the rest were barely used.

We're just going to get new nipples I think. We have a ton of bottles since DD was FF from the start (adopted) and we're kind of lazy. In going to reuse our bottles too, but buy new nipples. I'll sanitize them first of course. I threw out all of DS's pacifiers when we went cold turkey, so I'll need to buy new ones.

If you need a car seat the clek foonf is new and seems pretty awesome. Similar to the Diono radian in size and features. We had to switch DS before it was available and he's 4.
