Today is my last day of work before getting 4 days off and I couldn't be more excited about that. I'm not sure if it's the fact that I'm pregnant, or the toddler, or that I'm working way too many hours with too busy of a schedule while I am working, but I am incredibly exhausted. I feel like I can't get enough sleep to not feel so unbelievably tired to my core every single day. I think I need to cut back on my work and I'm going to start thinking of ways that I can do that.
Morning! I've been up since 6 because DS woke up and needed to go to the bathroom. I'm really happy that he's starting to wake up through the night to go, but he still needs assistance so that means less sleep for all of us.
Today is my first day off for the holiday break and I'm planning to make a bunch of Christmas candy and hopefully start wrapping some presents. And maybe take a nap later

I'm jealous of everyone who's already off for the holidays. I work today and tomorrow and am on call tomorrow until Mon morning. At least after that I get a week off! It will be spent traveling with a toddler so I'll probably still be exhausted, but at least it will be fun

DH and I both have the day off today and it's pouring here. We are taking our dog over to my parents house to hang out for a while, since we won't see them on Christmas Eve tomorrow (we see DH's parents instead).

Ok, I have big news ladies....
Are you ready for it?
I drank COFFEE today for the first time in 2.5 months! The smell didn't make me gag! I haven't even been able to think about coffee or smell coffee without feeling ill for the past 10 weeks or so, but recently I started thinking, hmmm, maybe I should try it again. So today I did.
I won't say that I loved it, but it was acceptable. And I am feeling slightly more human today as a result!
I was really sick last night, it's to the point where the next time I'm asked about my MS I'm just going to change the subject cuz I always get sick right after I brag about how I haven't been getting sick!
We played board games last night with BIL & his wife. Pretty fun night.
Today not sure on the plans but I couldn't sleep so I'm up early.
packerfan4life, I'll be keeping you company with having to work today and tomorrow...boo! My company did away with having both Christmas Eve and Christmas off (now we just have Christmas off) years ago because our employees are so diverse. I get it, but it sucks for those of us who don't take the day off because we don't "need" to even though I'd love to. Maybe next year.
Good Morning! I'm at work today too And I got a snide remark from my boss for being 30 min late this morning... There are only two other people here and nothing going on, but those 30min were SUPER important!! I'm currently listening to Christmas music and online shopping to make the most out of my work day

I didn't get sick at all yesterday it did today. Can we just get over this already?! Ok I promise I'm done complaining.
Both of my new bosses are out tomorrow so I'm coming in for a 1 hour training at 9 and then bouncing out. Yay!
Also, did I mention the fire truck fiasco here? If I did, it came yesterday and I'm SO HAPPY. Now we're ready for Christmas, and I'm so done with this week. Come on long weekend.
Plus we find out (hopefully) the sex of the baby next week, and I'm getting to be the emotional pregnant woman--either ragey or crying from happiness. Let's add some movement in there and we'll be all set!
Last day of work here. All my students and expect parties and treats. That isn't happening. One class gets cupcakes I made because I am making them do quite a bit of real work today.

My MOtN nausea has started. Last time it was from about now through the end and not every night so hopefully this is limited too. So far this PG is identical to the last one so this just checks another box. I'm definitely getting the "oh she's pregnant!" Happy looks from strangers now so my bump is real. In other news we made it to the Midwest and are at my dads house the next few days and DS is loving all the grandparents and attention.

I'm so exhausted from yesterday - I did ALL of my Christmas baking....8 dozen or so cookies, brownies and 5 loaves. Our shutterfly Christmas cards finally came and so I addressed all of those to take to the post office this morning.
I haven't even started my Christmas wrapping. I'm so glad DH is off this week or nothing would be happening.
I'm the person who would have squealed and made an embarrassing scene
Not gonna lie, I totally jumped at first because I thought it was a spider. Once I saw it inch up, it made me smile.
I have a soft spot for inch worms. They're so cute! It's easy to pick them up after a walk in the woods because they hang from tree branches by little threads. I get them while hiking all the time.
We have a fire going, our 2 dogs and our cat are all hanging out by the fireplace with us and I just made muffins for late breakfast, this is shaping up to be a great day.

I'm so jealous you have a fireplace! My parents have one and they use it in the winter all the time. So lovely!
I'm tired already, DS woke up in the middle of night to use the potty (yay?) and then woke up at 5 for the day. We are going to meet a good friend for lunch who is visiting from out of town.
This morning I spent about 2 hours trying to pull together a bunch of documents for my new job background check. I have technically been a sole contractor for a company with no US base for the last 5 years which is proving a small nightmare to 'prove' my tenture with them. I'm in a bad mood.

I ran out of clean maternity pants today. Turns out I can still fit into and button my non maternity pants at 15w. However they're just not as comfortable. I need to do laundry

I've been wearing regular pants every day now at 16w but I broke out my yoga pants today and they're HEAVENLY. I don't think I'll be going back.

Yeah, I've been in maternity clothes for 2-3 weeks. Not out of necessity by any means but just for sheer comfort. I do feel like my bloat went down a little this week so my blump is actually less than it was before

I feel like neither are comfortable. I hate how maternity pants always feel like the real pant part is too low on my butt. Also, I don't like my maternity pants very much. All of my maternity clothes are from 2010. And some of them were hand me downs even then. All the jeans are wider leg/more flare than I like now and I feel like they are all very out of style. The shirts are pretty ugly/out of style, too. I hate the idea of spending money on new stuff though! Plus I feel like maternity pants just make me feel fat instead of like I have a bump - I like having my regular pants hold things in a bit. Only one pair of regular pants are comfortable at this point though, and it is a pair of jeans that have quite a bit of stretch to them.
Of course - ask me again in a couple weeks, and I'm sure I will have abandoned regular pants altogether.
