Do you have a New Years resolution? I never have given myself one, but this past year wasn't the best I've had (wasn't the worst), so maybe I need a jump start in the positivity to carry on to 2016.

-have a baby -20% growth in my side business -stop being so hard on myself all the time.
I really want my side business to start taking off more so that when we finally have a baby I can stay home and use that as income. I didn't do well this year and that's mostly because I didn't work as hard as I should. I want to change that this year.

I never do them, but feel like I need the kick in the pants this year and it might help to have some set goals. -get a new job!! -Lose 30lbs (mostly by focusing on getting cardio back in my life and being more active generally) -make progress on cleaning out the clutter in our house and fixing it up -if I'm not KU, I want to show my horse next season and improve our scores!
TTC since July 2014. CP March 2015. IVF #1 March 2016, 5R, 3M, 2F with ICSI. Transferred 2 on day 3. CP. Surprise BFP and then CP August 2016 (prep cycle for IVF). IVF #2: zero eggs retrieved IVF #3: 6R, 5M, 5F, 3 (2 8A and 1 11A) transferred, one "B" graded embryo frozen on day 5. BFP (at home 7dp3dt, confirmed 14dp3dt with 1552 beta) and U/S at 5w5d, 2 sacs and 2 yolks!

I'm pretty involved in a nonprofit summer camp so my goal is related to helping provide more of their material needs. For instance, every time I go up (7-8x per year) I'm going to bring a few gluten free items for the kitchen so they have them for when guests stay with that allergy.
I don't really do resolutions, although a couple of years ago I resolved not to listen to any Katy Perry and it was an awesome year.
This year though I'm going to try and set some goals: - Start composting, it's so silly that we don't do this and throw so much away - Eat less meat and wheat - Learn how to manage my stress levels
starbuck27 you could try this, I'm not sure if it will work but I used it to reduce my coffee intake years ago. For every 4 oz soda, you have to drink double that in water and have to alternate the two. For example, if you drink 8 oz water at 10am then you can have 4 oz soda at lunch, drink another 8 oz of water after lunch and have another 4 oz soda in the afternoon. You might have to vary the amounts to work for you. I found that when I was drinking more water I felt better and started to crave the coffee less and less often. Good luck !
I try to do mini-reassessments/goals all year long but I do think of some special resolutions at New Years. I will aim to see my sisters at least once a week since they make me so happy. I will focus on exercising moderately, consistently rather than intensely, inconsistently (I think it will help with TTC. And I would like to grow a garden this spring/summer which I've never done.
-Make more time for me. This is open to interpretation depending on what I feel I need. More one on one time with DH, more girlfriend time, or actual alone time. I'm terrible about making time for any of this. Get fit, physically and mentally. -Figure out what I want to be when I grow up. Or maybe this is "find myself", though I hate that phrase. I've been struggling lately with my identity, I can't seem to find the right balance (in my mind) of being a good wife and mom, but yet still feeling like I'm utilizing my skills and contributing to society. -Get organized. Learn to prioritize better. -Focus on completing house projects. It's ridiculous that we've been here 4 years now and don't have some simple projects done. (see above resolution)

I have a strong tendency not to stick to my goals, but I like to resolve to do things anyways.
-I would like to exercise more and increase my water intake -Eat less sweets -Lose 30-50lbs -Start TTC and hopefully get pregnant (man it feels weird to type that -in a good way!) -Make a new friend

Last year my resolution was to stop cussing... That lasted about a week! Ha! This year mine is cliché: I want to get healthier and lose 15 lbs. I lost 30 lbs in 2013 (with a goal of 40). I have since gained 10 back. I think losing 15 is a reasonable goal. To accomplish this goal, I am actually going to attend my weight watchers meetings instead of "cutting them a check" month after month. I also want to walk my dog a mile every day.

My top to do for 2016:
- Organize my closets/clothes. - Make it a priority to have quality time with DH. The last couple months he's been a SAH dad so we are getting a lot of good moments together. But I want to continue that when he finds a new job next year. - Plan a trip anywhere.

I need to get my organization game in check. Get serious about training for the half marathon I plan on running in early March. Be more assertive. Get my diet back under control. Reach out to friends more often.

- FINALLY start officially TTC - since TTC likely won't happen until May or June lose some weight so I am in better shape before GKU - complete a Whole30 and continue to keep my dairy/sugar/crap intake down - get in more than 5,000 steps on my FitBit everyday - get outside more ... learn to ski and do more hiking in the summer - plan a family trip and a trip alone with DH
1. Get healthier. I lost 25 lbs. this past year with the 21 day fix so I will probably start that back up again. It is manageable & I don't feel like I'm starving myself. Plus you can have wine 2. Build & move into our house by the end of the year. 3. Try to do one fun planned activity with DD every week just me & her.

That's a good start! I already started taking baby steps… no phones out during meals or in the presence of other people. If I'm gonna start small, might as well start with the stuff that gets on peoples nerves
