Unknown, was it your first time reading Ender's Game? I first read the series in high school -- *gulp* 19 years ago -- and I loved it then, but it was so long ago.

Wow! I am impressed by some of these lists!
I read Outlander and Gone Girl. I started Little Big Lies. This is impressive for me. I've slacked a lot on reading (for pleasure, I have had my face in textbooks for much of it) the last few years!

I really don't understand when some of you find the time to read that much. Do you not sleep??
In my case, not really. I'm an insomniac. Always have been.
^^^ This. Also O still takes a nap almost every day. (I haven't been doing boring grown-up stuff while he naps because that's the closest I get to "me" time while J's at work.)

If it's something you like to do, you make time for it. I would rather read then watch tv, I use the kindle and nook apps on my phone so I always have a book with me and I use my ereader when I'm on the treadmill. There are also times I stay up way too late reading.
beebe918 Do you watch the 100 on The CW? DH and I are pretty much addicted to it but I have yet to pick up the book.
I have been in a reading slump due to "Morining" sickness and and a horrible cold but I'm hoping to get back to it this month. In January I read: Half bad: Sally Green Alienated: Melissa Landers Adventures in Funeral Crashing: Milda Harris Fairest: Marissa Meyer and parts of Mistborn: Brandon Sanderson House of the Scorpion: Nancy Farmer

I do and I love it! I'm not sure if I would feel differently having read the book before the show but IMO the show is way better. The show and book are very different and I like the direction they took with the show much better. The book is told in 4 POVs and 1 is especially boring.

I have heard that about the show being way better from other people. Probably why I'm hesitant about picking up the book. The show is entertaining on its own and I have so many other things I HAVE to read that I don't know if I will even have time to pick it up. Add that to the list of books I never read after the show was on because I am a horrible book person.
