I haaaaaaaate when medical professionals speak to me like I am of the idiot masses. I wish I could wear a badge that says,"Have been on TD/TCF for 7 years; Prob know more than you about conception"
Haha!! Love all of this. When I explained all of our IVF stuff to my mom she asked me why I didn't become a doctor. I just laughed. I like to be informed about wtf is going on!!
I went to an IF therapist earlier this year, and after I told her my IF history she asked me if I was a physician. Lol.
How are you feeling (physically/emotionally)? Hungry all the time, peeing all the time, bouts of nausea have tapered a bit but I definitely can't always eat whatever I crave b/c baby clearly does not want!
Any Rants/Raves/Questions you'd like to share/ask? I woke up with my left eye swollen shut & it hurt like a biznitch. Turns out I have a zit on my lower lid. Gotta love pregnancy acne. Yee-ha.
Any upcoming milestones or appointments? This Saturday I'll be 8w1d and the most pregnant I've ever been. Next appt 1/14 for a 10w scan. I love my OB (I might have mentioned that she specializes in PgAL) she's very proactive & thorough and schedules appts to calm any PgAL anxieties that a loss mom may have.
QOTW: Do you have any NYE plans? We will be lounging at home and I may pass out before midnight. I honestly can't believe I'm still up!
So sorry for my delayed response ladies! This week is the worst week we decided to do last min touch ups to our rental since its been raining every freaking day! I've been exhausted after dealing with the rental so when I haven't had a chance to properly reply. (side note - some CAL grads may already know I've been dealing with this reno project since mid June lol! So glad and relieved it's finally being rented come Jan 1st!)
Anyway, when I did the poll a few weeks ago, I know some ladies mentioned that they preferred to keep it casual and whoever felt like posting the check-in can do so whenever. I haven't had a chance to read through all of the comments re: posting yet but I'm ok with anything. I posted this week b/c I know that it's super difficult dealing with PAIF/PgAL brain, especially in the beginning weeks for many of us. Although I sometimes feel like I won't be able to breathe easy until baby is here!
