I'm catching up on the day, hey ladies I'm back from our last day of prenatal class.... I AM READY TO MEET MY DAUGHTER!!!! FI is throwing the wings in the oven, I'm in my jarmies ready for the Super Bowl. Go Green Bay
The pizza they serve! My all time fave is those darn hot dogs that we shouldn't eat now. Yummy!
I want pizza now. It would be mean to make them deliver in 6+ inches of snow I guess.
Technically it's their job, but I felt sorry for Pizza Hut and papa johns drivers I saw! I'm just glad I'm not them today! Bless their hearts. 8" here and falling.
Thanks guys. Damn washer. So much for starting the work week with clean clothes. And all my gym clothes are dirty so no gym for me tomorrow. Boo. But I don't think it's broken broken. There's a repair guy coming out tomorrow. It's a front loader and the drum won't spin. I have no idea how old it is since it came with our house but I think it's relatively new and most likely worth replacing.
Then we went to Costco and our membership needed renewing. That, on top of the washer and finding out yesterday that we owe money on our taxes AND DH lecturing me about buying baby stuff while waiting in line to check-out ended with me standing in the Costco parking lot, eating a giant cookie while crying.
The most frustrating part was when I posted to our neighborhood Facebook page so his owners would know he was gone (the dog didn't have a collar), these women started commenting being all defensive about their enormous dogs and how I should toughen up! I'm like, I am pregnant and my dog is the size of a loaf of bread--I'm not exactly feeling "tough" right now! Haha
My dog is bigger than a loaf of bread, but I HATE when things like that happen so I totally know where you're coming from. One of my biggest pet peeves is when I'm walking my dog and people have their dogs just roaming around in their yard. I never fail to get yelled at for their unleashed dog running across the street to play with or bark at my leashed dog...which makes zero sense to me.
And so much for being nice and posting on the Facebook page! Don't take it to heart...you don't need to toughen up at all. They are the ones being mean!
To continue the productive project weekend I was so gung-ho about...DH and I made it through a first pass at registering at BRU, and there were no tears or knock-down blow-out fights! We were there for over two hours even though we'd researched most of the "big" items ahead of time. I kept getting distracted by the cute fox-themed things!
Woohoo! This will hopefully be us tomorrow. We've already had a tiff about it because we had planned on taking our dog to daycare tomorrow and using the time to be productive, then when I mentioned it today he was all "I don't know, do you really want to run errands in this?" (meaning today's blizzard). AAAAARRRRRRGH! We make these plans for his days off and then he keeps blowing them off, like do you not hear me stressing about wanting to register before shower invites go out in the next week or two? Obviously if it's still nuts tomorrow then we will lay low, and I'm okay with not driving all the way to the daycare, but BRU is less than 10 minutes from our house. As long as it's safe to drive, there is NO REASON we can't crate the dog and devote 1-2 hours to BRU and/or Target (which is halfway between the house and BRU).
I worked at a Coldstone for a summer in college and we got a free cup every shift...I will never have Coldstone again. I am team FroYo!
I worked at DQ in college. mmmm DQ
I gave up on DQ. I love cookie dough blizzards but they never put enough cookie dough in there. or it's all in the 1st half and then the 2nd half is just vanilla ice cream

THIS!!! Ugh. The worst is when there seems to be no person around outside and the dog comes running toward us, my dog is mostly friendly but that doesn't mean I can predict how she will be with another dog, and it's hard to separate them when the other one is just running free!
@jraeohyeaaa I'm sorry all that happened to you, it was nice of you to post that the dog was gone, I know I'd do the same (and hope for the same if someone saw my dog run away)!
Sigh. I was going to make chocolate chip cookies tonight. But DS got in trouble and I don't want him to get cookies tonight. I'm not mean enough to bake cookies and not let him have any. Which mean no cookies for me tonight. Boo.
Can you make them when he goes to bed or is that too late?
seventythree Aww, I hope everything works out for you guys to go tomorrow! Have fun with it.
robotpcr Oh man, I'm so sorry about your washer! What awful timing. I hope it's an easy, inexpensive fix when the repair guy comes out tomorrow. And you definitely deserved that cookie at Costco. Creepy internet hugs!
I was doing some catching up and realized, did I inadvertently spark a GBCB with my comment about Axel a couple days ago? I guess I'm really one of the mean girls now.
See I don't really feel like it is. It's spendy sure but they make it in store. Most true creameries are expensive. Not just a bucket scoop place.
I only get sweet cream with chocolate chips so mine ends up being about $4.
really it's pretty close to the same price as a blizzard. I would cry if someone brought me Coldstone right now. Or Salt N Straw. It's a hipster creamery in Ptown with fun flavors. It's so freakin good. I love their bourbon chocolate and salted caramel. Yuuuum. I'll settle for a homemade chocolate chip oatmeal cookie.

you poor thing. That makes me so sad. I hate the surprise Costco renewal. It always snakes up on us each year.
Hopefully you can get the washer repaired Nd it's an easy fix! Not a huge deal breaker where you'll just need a new one.
