Oh I C U NFL trying to appeal to families after all the domestic abuse shit. Ok.
How much control do they have of the content of the commercials? Obviously they determine the pricing and spots and all that but can they warp the "messages" like that?
Those McDonalds commercials kinda make me not want to go to there until after 2/14...I'd rather not have to dance at the register!
We just had this same discussion! DH said "I'd rather just pay the money". I said I'd have special words for someone who told me to call my dead mother so I could get my french fries.

nurserachel22 If you need a break from school take it! I did the same about 7 years ago and when I went back (and was in treatment and on meds) everything went much better. Make sure you take care of yourself and ask your ob/midwife for mental health resources.
robotpcr sorry about your washer. That sucks!! To everyone else I missed- sorry. I hope all glucose tolerance tests go well and sick LOs feel better!

I said the same thing to DH! I was like..wow they could really ruin someone's day by asking them to call their mom, dad, etc.
Also, I order from the dollar menu, so if I had to do something stupid to get my food I'd at least want to change my order first. Add a couple McFlurrys in there ya know

I think it's partially that and actually today is the worst day of the year for domestic violence (drunk guys getting angry at sports and taking it out on their wives and kids) - the insane knowledge you gain when having a social worker as a mother.
Also- I broke down ugly crying in front of my entire family at the Budwiser puppy commercial. It took like 5 minutes to recover.
I managed to hold it together and not cry... Looked over and DH is wiping away tears. Then the Nationwide commercial made me decide it was time to go upstairs and stop watching.

I'm crying at every commercial with kids and/or puppies. Time to buckle down and get my wedding invitations done and stop watching Superbowl commercials...

And the biggest sex trafficking event of the year.

What are you thinking for invites! PIP the style you like. Ours were very plain but eggplant colored. I thought they were cute.
No Super Bowl watching for this mama. I'm thankful DH isn't a sports guy so I don't have to pretend to be interested in sports.
I make no secret about not being interested in sports! DH isn't even making me watch, but I feel bad for him and at this time of night I'd probably be chilling on the couch anyway, so... here I am.

I definitely bawled my eyes out at that commercial. DH laughed...and then to make it worse my dog cuddled up next to me at the same time so I cried more.

When should we expect our invitations to arrive?
Lol...the list is already too big! I wanted to elope. Compromise for appeasing family was a small, 20 guest wedding in our yard followed by lunch at a local Italian restaurant. Following further family issues, I'm not even looking at my final numbers but I'm sending 30 invitations out in the mail, some to couples and families. Desperately hoping for some declines lol
I'm always on my phone and find quoting SO much easier than tagging when I'm trying to respond. I struggle getting people's s/n spelled correctly. I'm not on the app.
