Today's my last full day in Hawaii. I spent the morning running and sitting on the beach. Now I'm heading to a prenatal massage. I promise my life will be boring after this trip and hopefully some of you mamas will get a babymoon. I needed this trip badly and sad to be going home tomorrow but looking forward to hugging my sweet love. He has a much happier, relaxed mom. Now let's see how long it lasts!
The highlight of my day (as it is every day) was picking DS up from daycare. He's in the 12-24 months classroom and at almost 23 months now, he is one of the oldest in his class. Well, his teacher told me that this morning at breakfast they were all eating some applesauce from bowls. One of the younger kids who doesn't have utensil skills yet was trying to pick his applesauce up with his fingers. DS saw this and then took the kid's spoon and spoon-fed him the entire bowl of applesauce. His teacher said DS is going to be a great big brother!
pbandj714 I'm sorry! Last night i woke up to the worst reflux. Hope it doesn't stick around! (Though is supposedly a sign of hair? Don't know if that's true...)

Oh this is soooo cute! I'm embarrassed that my 21 month old has terrible utensil skills. I had a bad habit of using pouches and not wanting him to make a mess. I need to let him practice more and be okay with the mess.

I figure they'll all be using forks appropriately by the time they go to college! It has been a super messy process for us. DS still eats in only a diaper at home because of the mess. Some days I feel like just bringing him out back and just hosing him down rather than cleaning him up! Kidding....mostly
