We are going to a friends house. I'm bringing buffalo chicken dip and the crack dip (Rotel, hot sausage and cream cheese in the crockpot!). Yummmm. I can't wait for all the dips!!

I probably won't drink much today because it's Sunday, and I have to work tomorrow and all. Plus we're not really doing the Superbowl thing here today (FFSC?). I'll probably just watch the Half Time Show.

But why? Super Bowl parties tend to center around cheese and that makes them the best parties.
The Superbowl is one of my favorite food days of the year! I'll have all of the nine-layer dip, please! I wasn't feeling like drinking but then I saw the word "mimosa."
However... my mom got us tickets to the opera today (which sort of feels like the opera's giant middle finger to sports fans), so there will not be any football food soon. It will be done by the time the game starts to heat up so I'm going to try to convince FI to go somewhere to watch it. Neither of us really care for either team, but I want to go watch it because nachos.
ETA: If nothing else I'm going to try to stream the Puppy Bowl! I love the kitten halftime and hedgehog cheerleaders, and of course PUPPIES!
To be honest, I want both teams to lose. I guess I have to with the lesser evil, which IMO are the Hawks. Please don't flame me. Today sucks and I will be drinking the rest of the wine we opened last night. Rum and diet coke sounds good to me, too.
Hope y'all have a great time at your parties and be safe!

Same here, but I'm eating all the food anyways baha. At least you know they'll have a compilation of the best commercials somewhere online tomorrow so you can at least see those!

dee what opera are you seeing? I love the opera but didn't make any shows this season. I hope I can still catch The Magic Flute in May.
La Boheme, I'm really excited - champagne at both intermissions and a big brownie. We're seeing Don Giovanni later this month. The Opera down here is losing a lot of funding, so they've cut down their shows so much, which is a huge bummer. I haven't seen The Magic Flute yet, I hope you get to see it!
Guise.... I'm SO hungover today. Like ridiculously so. Like I'd love to love tit everyone on here but reading about alcohol is making me dry heave... Blah.
