I love all things Sephora. I have a particular fondness for the Too Faced line of eye shadows
Green chile on all the things! Except chocolate and sushi. At least, the green chile sushi I have had was not great but I feel like it was a texture issue more than a taste problem.
Sunshine and warmth. I miss it -.-
Jamberry wraps! Thank God, because I sell it. I have a sheet of last month's charity wraps and I can't wait to put them on!
Idk. Lots of things lol
K so Jamberrys. I got samples from a friend and it peeled off super fast. I followed a Youtube video tutorial and it just didn't really work for me. Do they pretty much require the special heating tool or can one use a hair dryer?
I like the concept of them and there are really cute designs, but I feel incompetent to use them.
You don't need to buy the heater but I honestly think it works better than the blow dryer because it gives you consistent heat without overheating the wraps. If they peeled off, there was probably something wrong during application. I don't think the official application video online says it, but it's best to wash your nails with a degreasing soap like Dawn before doing the rest of your nail prep. Make sure the soap doesn't contain moisturizers. Also, if you get your wrap edges too close to your cuticles, it will cause them to lift since it's not lying flat. I'd love to help you out so PM me and I can answer any of your questions or send you a couple samples!

Ohhhh love this thread! Posting before reading but I feel like it is going to send me into an online shopping spiral lol.
I rarely wear any make-up but when I do I am obsessed with Tarte and Benefit. My favorites are the Tarte BB Cream, Tarte LipSurgence lip creme, Benetint (I also have Posietint and want to try the newer ones!), and Benefit Coralista blush (I love that it comes with a brush, handle for travel!). Also my sister talked me into trying this Clarins mascara and it is amazing!
I've been living the the J.Crew signature leggings and the White Plum draped ballet tunic. Though wait for sales! I refuse to pay full price at J.Crew. White Plum sends out emails for up to 75% on items. The ballet tunic is $40 but I paid between $15-$17 for mine (I have it in 4 colors lol).
I spend the winter in these Sorel boots. They are the tits.
Oh and I stopped drinking coffee and now drink this awesome tea from Harney & Sons.
Also if anyone here hasn't signed up for Ebates DO IT. I wish I had signed up earlier. All the places I normally shop online have cash back (save for Amazon), usually 1-5% but sometimes up to 8-10%. It is awesome.
As if all of this thread hasn't made me want to blow all my money already, Kate Spade has 25% off their sale items right now online. I spy adorable agenda planners.
I just splurged on an Erin Condren planner. So excited.
onesweetworld - what is your favorite thing about the Amazon Echo? How does it know you want to play something on Pandora vs. Amazon Music? I don't get it! But I want it!
You tell Alexa what you want to play. "Alexa play pandora" and it will go to your last played station. "Alexa play Christmas music" goes to Amazon prime.
I love that she turns on my lights and tells me how long my commute is.

I sent this purse to my mom in case she needs ideas for my birthday.

ohinvrtedworld, I haven't tried a tinted moisturizer and I think that's probably all the coverage I really would care about. I'm always hesitant with anything that goes all over the skin. My skin is so reactive (breaks out and gets super-oily) that I'm worried about causing a problem. We have a Sephora in our JCPenney by the mall but they have a much smaller selection than a real Sephora and the closest one of those in an hour away. But we do have an Ulta right down the street from my house so I might have to take a trip in there one of these days when I have money to burn.

I live in Florida so flip-flops are pretty much all-year-round footwear. My absolute favorite are Olukai Ohana. They're pricey for flip-flops but they are really comfortable and offer good support. I have high arches and can wear these all day without my feet aching.

I actually prefer the Sephora inside JC Penneys to the big one at the other mall. I feel like I get more personalized service and I'm not as overwhelmed. I had my wedding makeup done at Sephora inside JCP.
sleepymonkey , It's ok I do not wear makeup at all, not even eye liner. My skin has gotten a million times less oily since I stopped.
My skin got so much less oily when I stopped washing twice a day and using a bunch of skincare stuff. I tried so much stuff, both expensive and not expensive, but what works for me is washing with J&J Purpose cleanser and then using Purpose Dual Treatment lotion in the morning only. At night, I just take off my eye makeup. My skin looks better than it has in years.

I played with the Allure beauty product finder with your skin characteristics and it came up with this list of products that you can investigate!

I'm a flip flop girl and I live way north. I will wear them in the snow. I bought a pair of Oakley flip flops (same shape as those) and I just felt there was too much material there. I like my flip flop thin because I'd prefer to just be barefoot. I just got a pair of Nike flip flops for $8 and I'm obsessed.
Oooooh maybe the next time I'm at the big fancy mall with the Sephora thats like 45 minutes away I will have them go over lips with me. I have serious issues with lipstick, I love how it looks but I could never find the right color or get it to stay where it's supposed to be!
This won't help with the color, but I ran across this tutorial recently and it might be worth a shot for you? It definitely looks like it will stay on forever.
Oh thanks! I pinned it for the product links; that stain on Amazon? Holy Moly. It looks too perfect. But I don't know about buying from Amazon and then not liking it....But Sephora it will be one day. Maybe Ulta though, I keep forgetting they consult too. The Ulta is in a better area (not as crowded crazy) so that might be a better bet.
This thread is making me feel really bad for being terrible with make-up. I only wear eye shadow (cheap ELF brand), sometimes eye liner (Sephora brand), mascara (Great Lash), and lip balm. I have pale oily/acne prone skin with massive pores and have never found a foundation that looks right on my skin. I'm always jealous of the women who are good with makeup. I'm missing that gene, apparently.
Popping in quick to respond to this
Get yourself a good foundation primer, girl! It will do wonders for keeping a foundation from settling into pores or any fine lines. I've only ever used Mary Kay's foundation primer, but it made a huge difference in how foundation wears on my skin. I too struggle with visible pores and have naturally oily skin. ETA: Any foundation brand that you choose should be labeled "Non-comedegenic" (non-pore clogging) These foundations are also made to sit on top of the skin and not settle into the pores, making acne problems worse.

Do you have any of these said coupons?? Need that tunic!! Although I have one in blue, green, red, and black print almost exactly the same style. See previous post re: NEED ALL THE TRAPEZE DRESSES!

If any of you live near an Aldi and need a food recommendation, there is a brie & apple ravioli in the little freezer bin right now that is so freaking good. I think it's $3. It'd be really good with a teeny bit of browned butter for the sauce.

I second the mary kay foundation primer. I am out at the moment and notice the difference.

OMG TheEleventhHour, that White Plum top is SUPER cute. I've been trying to find things to wear with some leggings I have and I think you just helped me find it!
