Symptoms: hip pain, calf cramps, some lingering nausea, fatigue lately
AW/Appointments: not until the 10th, which is my 24 week appt
Questions/Comments/Concerns: what are good ways to get iron besides red meat? I want to make sure I'm getting enough, but I'm not a huge fan of red meat.
GTKY: What singer/band do you love but are slightly ashamed to love? Taylor swift. And nickleback. *hides* lol
AW/Appointments: I get another anatomy scan this week due to insurance changes. Excited to see how baby is doing but I'm team green so its gonna be hard to no when they ask if I want to know the sex again.
Questions/Comments/Concerns: none this week
GTKY: What singer/band do you love but are slightly ashamed to love? Taylor swift and Selena Gomez. Oh and I love GLEE music. I'm basically ashamed to love teen bopper music but that Shake it off song is so catchy!

Beans and Lentils are good iron sources. I make a turkey chili almost once a week that has different types of beans and try to mix lentils with my rice and in soups.
Weeks/Fruit: 25 weeks...not sure the fruit. On one of my apps it says baby is as big as Napa Cabbage !
Symptoms: Not much! A little more trouble sleeping but that's probably also because I have other stuff on my mind
AW/Appointments: Appt with the midwife on Wednesday - just a regular check-up
Questions/Comments/Concerns: Starting to worry that we haven't thought enough about baby essentials for when Lil' AK gets here!
GTKY: What singer/band do you love but are slightly ashamed to love? Probably some of the old pop punk/emo bands I used to listen to... MxPx, Dashboard Confessional, Silverstein, Jimmy Eat World

mcbaby: Are you able to take supplements? Most pre-natal vitamins should have a good dose of iron in them, and you could probably find just iron supplements out there. Here's a link to some other foods and the amount of iron per serving you could get.

Weeks/Fruit: 26 weeks, head of lettuce
Symptoms: fatigue, hip pain, and cramps are back this week
AW/Appointments: nothing until mid-Feb
Questions/Comments/Concerns: Feels like first-tri-style fatigue is slipping back in, I wish it could hold off for a few weeks!
GTKY: What singer/band do you love but are slightly ashamed to love? HA, I'm ashamed of most of the music I listen to! That said, I listen to music on long dog walks and as of late have been checking Spotify for playlists of 90s dance music, which is especially weird since during the actual 90s I mostly listened to alt-rock
Weeks/Fruit: 24/cantaloupe according to TD. I really need to get a different tracker app...
Symptoms: leg cramps, back aches, heart burn still since day 1. Pain in my belly sometimes just from growing.
AW/Appointments: U/S tomorrow, basically part 3 of my anatomy scan since they keep missing a picture of something or other every time. Just need her bottom left leg now I believe, which she likes to sit on during ultrasounds.
Questions/Comments/Concerns: I've been having mild FTM heart attacks recently, but its all good, just going through the motions.
GTKY: What singer/band do you love but are slightly ashamed to love?
I get down with some really crappy pop songs sometimes, but I never love the artist. I'll say Bad Religion, who I am not ashamed to love because they are fucking awesome, but it can be hard to admit when someone asks me what my favorite band is and I'm in a professional setting .
Oh man the leg cramps at night are the absolute worst! I forgot to mention that symptom, everyone says to drink more water. If I drink anymore water I will turn into a fish!
Weeks/Fruit: 26 weeks and baby is the size of a head of lettuce/butternut squash
Symptoms: Insomnia, heartburn, back pain (when I over do it at work)
AW/Appointments: Not until the 11th for the glucose test
Questions/Comments/Concerns: 3rd tri is just around the corner for us!
GTKY: What singer/band do you love but are slightly ashamed to love? I love me some T Swift and Selena Gomez. I put headphones in when I'm getting ready in the morning and dance around a little. Boyfriend totally caught me the other day. That went well...

Weeks/Fruit: 26 weeks!
Symptoms: my hips are starting to hurt now. Can the get comfortable when I sleep. I also can't walking for a long period, shopping sucks right now. After about 2 stores I'm done with it.
AW/Appointments: I go Tuesday.
Questions/Comments/Concerns:
GTKY: What singer/band do you love but are slightly ashamed to love? <br/> the new kids on the block!!!
Symptoms: not too much this week except BH contractions. Edited to add insomnia and carpal tunnel syndrome as clearly I'm wide awake at 3:18a, with tingling fingers as I type this out.
Appointments/milestones: had appointment last Monday. Placenta has moved up and was finally told I have an anterior placenta. No more worries about placenta growth either, I'm so relieved. Next appointment Feb. 25th- doing my glucose test then. Went back in on Thursday to get checked out after a car accident.
Questions/comments/concerns: I now have a new car that works better with an infant carrier seat. So far love it but wasn't planning on this right now at all. I've also finally bought some baby clothes. Have pretty much named baby Rosalind since nickname baby Rosie has stuck over the course of this weekend.
GTKY: What singer/band you love but are slightly ashamed to love? Hmm, I guess Britney Spears is the closest? I like a lot of songs, knowing most of the words...but frequently do not know who sings them.
GTKY: What singer/band do you love but are slightly ashamed to love? Taylor swift and Selena Gomez. Oh and I love GLEE music. I'm basically ashamed to love teen bopper music but that Shake it off song is so catchy!
I hadn't thought about this but just got into watching GLEE!! Have been going through binge watching episodes when I have time on Amazon Prime.
Symptoms: Snissing. And leg cramps. ;_; The leg cramps are bad enough to keep me up at night so boo to them.
AW/Appointments: Glucose test coming up in a couple weeks!
Questions/Comments/Concerns: No real questions or concerns at this point, but it's starting to sink in just how soon this baby is coming! It only scares me a little (probably not as much as it should). I just keep thinking about how amazing it will be hold my very own little baby for the first time right after she's born.
GTKY: What singer/band do you love but are slightly ashamed to love? I kind of loved Katy Perry's superbowl halftime show yesterday...

I liked it a lot at the beginning, then it got annoying. But I still love the music!
