Aww! I am at work with no pic, but DS came home in a very sweet outfit with little blue elephants. The socks were soooo teeny. Little sister is coming home in pink owl pjs, since I couldn't find the matching outfit in pink elephants. Still looking though. Have you started washing all your NB / 0-3 month outfits yet? I organized all the drawers/ closet but it was all for nothing since I need to wash them all..

I posted it on the other thread but depending on his size he'll come home in either the mommy's genius (NB) or the dinosaur (0-3). DD could fit into NB for over a month so we shall see how big he is.
I haven't decided if I want to put her in what DD wore home, or a new outfit. DD1 wore the onesie on the bottom left. Since she was born in June, I'll have to add pants to the outfit.
sunshineshades - if you go to edit your post and look at the BBCode option tab - there's a % in the coding string you can change from 100%. I usually take it down to about 25% and then save and see how it looks and then edit again if I'm not happy with it.
I was going to get a cute white sleep n play with gold hearts but now I'm second guessing because the average temp here in March is 74. And now I'm like why TF did I buy so many sleep n plays and long sleeve onesies?
Newborns still need more help regulating body temp though. If they are light cotton I am sure she'll be fine in March. Here I'm likely going to need to put a onesie on under her sleeper and possibly something else and a hat lol.
DS went home in a Michigan Wolverines outfit. DD went home in a little sister outfit. Not 100% sure what we'll do for DDS2. Maybe something to match what his brother wore. I'm not sure, I have all the feelings since we're having another boy after losing Blake.
I have this and have been looking for the perfect thing to go with it but haven't found it yet. There are some cute things on etsy that I like but I refuse to spend $35 for a onesie.
Like this:
I may ask mil if she will embroider one like this for me.
Keep in mind that anything that doesn't have legs will be hard to put in the car seat if you're trying to keep them covered. So if it's a gown, you'll have to scrunch it up and expose their legs. If you've got a warm climate, probably not an issue.

Good point. I live in Texas and mid March is a complete crap shoot as far as weather. It could be 40 or could be 80.

Same here. Probably not 40 but it might be windy and rainy. But it's not like she'll be staying outside for long. Plus the car will be running already.
LO1 was born last year March 11th. It was a beautiful sunny 70 degree day!

I need to find a onesie that isn't stained with spit up or poop, and possibly something that matches a hat that both my DDs wore home from the hospital... I'll probably wash/sort through the bins of clothes this weekend and post a pic then.

I'm contemplating doing something like this:
I'd change the colors of the embroidery, and then get pants/accessories to work for a boy and girl.
Or I might go shopping and see if I find something that makes me squee that I just HAVE to have. Haven't decided yet, and DH is no help. He doesn't quite understand the "coming home" outfit thing.

So, since the etsy outfit I want is not in the budget, I found a newborn size white peplum top for $2 at JC Penney that I'm going to pair with aqua leggings I have from another Carter's outfit and I will order this iron on for the top. Easy. I also have a headband to match and a crocheted coral color hat with a white flower on it!
