DS can eat scrambled eggs, cereal bars, mashed potatoes, puffs/Cheerios and Graham crackers. That's it. Still gagging and throwing up on most everything else. Going to try baked carrots again this week but I'm getting really frustrated.

Julia still isn't too interested in food. She will eat cheerios/puffs, goldfish crackers, toast w/peanut butter, cinnamon toast waffles, mozzarella, and some tiny pieces of fruit. And what she does eat, she doesn't eat much of. She has also become iffy on her purees, which she used to like. It's like she doesn't want to be fed anymore but she also doesn't want to chew much. She would really prefer to just play with her food and (water/juice/milk if it's in a cup). We made the transition to milk, which she loves, but I'm still giving her 1 bottle of formula each day to supplement her lack of food. The doc said she's probably just a late bloomer as far as eating.
Are they just plain eggs and mashed? Have you tried sauteing up some smaller diced veg to give just a tad of texture?
He can do scrambled eggs, I've diced veggies up really small with no luck at all. I talked to my cousin the other day who is an OT and she thinks I need to advocate for a referral to a speech therapist at his next appt, she thinks he has a texture sensory issue
Thanks guys. Our new food of the week that he can do is those teething biscuits. He has never been able to do them before so yay!
I can't wait until we can eat dinner again at a normal time. We were able to when he was 6-10ish months but now he is too interested in food so he will scream at us if we are eating and he isn't. So we eat at like 9

Just seeing this. Sorry you and C are still struggling.
FWIW We were having very similar issues with Haden (I know I've mentioned it before but forget when/where) and doc said don't worry until 18 months, so I tried not to. He seems to be getting better now. We'll still find things he gags on, but then a week or so later, he can eat them (e.g. pancakes).
Not to say don't have C evaluated (because I'm still harboring worries about delayed muscle tone or something since swallowing is still an issue with some things and he has no words) but I guess know that it will hopefully still improve over time?
We still can't do pasta, but over this past weekend he was able to do banana, which he had never been able to do before.
Our guys are just tardy to the food party, I think.
Keep us posted. I hope the pedi gives you some answers and your referral.
Thanks pears! Let me know how things are going for you. You actually reminded me that C did have some pancakes with his eggs on Saturday. I mean really small pieces but he did it.
