I know I've asked this before, but as there are more members I thought I would ask a question for those who are/have...
I finished taking Femara CD 3-7, today being CD8 and I've got pink/red spotting going on with cramps. Has anyone experienced this??
I've been trying to find info and it seems to be normal, but I head for my ultrasound on Monday, which I feel is too early... But I hope I'm done spotting by then...

I took it, and a dear friend of mine took it. It made her an egg producing machine like 13 of them or something, so they cancelled the cycle. They only found out bc she had horrible cramping, and they did an ultrasound otherwise she wouldn't have known.
I took it, and just felt soooo emotional and my ovaries felt like crampy and heavy golf balls, I am still slightly crampy around there.
My RE warned me that midcycle bleeding can happen on Femera, and is pretty normal. I wouldn't worry, it's all normal stuff that you have going on.

I just took Letrozole for the first time this cycle. I took it CD 5-9, 2.5mg. No symptoms really to speak of. Produced only 1 follicle. I also found that I have diminished ovarian reserve so I guess that isn't surprising.
I took it... I still only made 1-2 eggs, but no physical side effects mentally I don't think it was as rugged as Clomid. I took the drugs for such a long time that I don't know... I finally got pg, last try, one egg, one vial, one last ditch effort. Im hopin for you firstcomeslove2013, I was NOT a candidate for IVF, because of low numbers, but it happened.

Thanks so much! IUI was this morning so now we play the waiting game!

I did 3 cycles on Letrozole. I didn't have any spotting, but was generally told that light spotting wasn't cause for concern unless it required a pad and was bright red. If you're concerned, I'd call your RE.

Yes, all the meds make me so bloated. I'm on Clomid this time, 100mg, and it's worse than my two cycles of 2.5 letrozole.
Me: 31 Wife: 30. Legally married 2008, thanks CA! TTC #1 since 11/14 using donor sperm. IUIs Jan-Aug 2015 BFN Sept & OCT 2015 added Femara. BFN Saw RE December 2015. IUI with Clomid & Trigger Jan 2016 BFN IUI #13 with Follistim April 2016 BFFN IVF #1 July 2016. 14R, 10F, 6 Day 5 embryos. 4 PGS normal embabies!
I took letrozole for 3 IUI cycles as well. I do remember lots of cramping and bloating, but at the time I was not sure if that was from the meds or the actual IUI procedure itself. I never had any break through bleeding on letrozole, so I unfortunately can't offer and words of wisdom about that. I usually produced 2 follicles on letrozole. I didn't get pregnant with IUI, but I know LOTS of people who have. Good luck!!!
Thank you for all the replies! I had an US Monday and the follicles were only at 10mm. Had another today and there are 4 good follicles on the right side and one that looks like it might go on its own. We are just waiting to hear from our RE with direction on when to take my trigger.
The spotting was only for one day. But holy was I a bloated mess! lol

I was scheduled for tomorrow to have my 2nd monitoring ultrasound and I just knew that was too late, so I called and moved it to today.
Turned out I have a couple dominant follicles on the right side and I am triggering tonight at midnight and we have the IUI Friday at noon! If I didn't go till tomorrow I would have missed it.
So since we are off for the next week while Jo is home before heading back overseas.. We are headed for Saskatoon tomorrow, getting a hotel for the night, going to the movies and having a little 'date night' and then going to make a baby Friday afternoon!
