Snowed In Sunday Thoughts (Randoms)

Well we got slammed with snow and I'm just waiting around until it's late enough in the morning for it to be appropriate to get the loud snow blower going.  

Crossing my fingers for a snow day tomorrow.

Thankful to be sipping on my coffee and hanging out with you ladies!

Good morning!

H made cinnamon rolls, scrambled eggs, and bacon this morning. I'm stuffed!

We also got some snow, but only about an inch or so. It rained all day yesterday and up until the changeover to snow during the night, so our biggest concern is ice under the snow on the roads and such. It looks really pretty but it is bitterly cold!!

We don't have snow, just rain, but I do love a good snow day off from work. mosdub I hope you get a Monday off from Mother Nature!

It's my nephew's birthday party today and it's Pacman themed. Finally a theme I can get behind! I have my Pacman earrings and am looking for a yellow cardigan before we head over today. I wish Donkey Kong was still in. That's my random thought.

I've been up since 630 when I took my thyroid meds, temped, and did an opk. I couldn't get back to sleep after all that. I swept and mopped the bathroom, kitchen & dining room, cleaned the bathroom, and continued to sort through my random stuff on the counter. I am just now sitting down at 9am. I did read a chapter of my book while I was waiting for the floor to dry.

I probably should've soaked up my alone time while H and DD were sleeping with something other than cleaning...

We have a memorial to go to today for our friend's mom. I also plan on ordering pics & picking them up at and stopping by Target & Books A Million (which is "closing" for the second time).

ETA: The pics are of DD for my mom, not of the memorial.

I think what you did sounds way more satisfying (now that it's done).  We spent all day yesterday organizing and sorting and it feels so good to be home when everything is clean and tidy!

Thanks H is really happy because while I am a pro at keeping the living room and kitchen floors picked up and free of messes I really stink at keeping the counters uncluttered. He would rather have a de-cluttered counter and tons of toys on the floor. LOL! Now we are both happy.

Morning everyone! It is snowing right now, and it is supposed to continue for a few more hours. Today will be a baking day for us. We are making bread and cookies.

Good morning! My husband found his way to bed last night. I guess the floor got uncomfortable.

Today should be fun. I want to run some errands and then we are meeting some people today at 3 that we met last night to do some quick bottle trades.

This is our current weather situation as well. Sure looks pretty! Glad I got groceries yesterday and don't have to drive anywhere today!

Lucky you. We're about to head out for groceries. I didn't feel nearly good enough yesterday to tackle that.

Blech, feel better you sickies. No snow here; it rained its ass off yesterday and last night, the sun juuuust popped out so H and DS took the go-kart out for a ride. I wish it was warm enough that they could hose off outside when they're done; they're gonna be completely caked in mud :/

It's pouring...pouring!!...rain here and is so gross. At least it's 50 degrees so it's not cold or icy, but man is it nasty! I just went riding and am looking forward to doing not much the rest of the day. I only cleaned three rooms yesterday but I did the deep clean in them and I'm tired! It's a good day for football on the couch and napping!!

So I ordered breakfast in (yes I tipped delivery guy very well due to said rain) and am in bed waiting for H to return from the gym

I haven't seen or talked to MIL since August at SIL's wedding except a text on thanksgiving. (Did not even get that on Christmas.) Yesterday I got a text from. Her saying, "hope I see you and H tomorrow! Grape leaves at 3pm!" (Grape leaves are a family specialty.) I asked H and he knows nothing about it...she is challenging...I do not want to see her today but feel like we should make an effort with her where we can. We don't even know if it's at her house or what...so weird!

MH is one of 2 boys, and we alternate her for thanksgiving, which she doesn't like, apparently only my dad does holiday right so she always wants to be with us ::insert horrified look:: I have basically been with her constantly since mid-november, so this is my last straw with her until Easter or later. Good luck today!

Snowing here but we're only supposed to get about an inch. The dogs what none of it and won't even leave the patio. Since it was raining 4 hours ago and we had this rapid drop in temperature, the roads are awful. At some point we have to go get groceries bit I'm thinking I'll wait a bit.

I am also being lazy in bed and it's snowing outside. I am snuggling with my puppy while my husband goes to church... He announced that he wanted to go 15 minutes before it started and I knew I wasn't going to get up and going that quickly...

H decided he can't handle seeing her so we bowed out. I guess she left him a message earlier in the week about it but he never listens to voicemails so didn't get it. She lives about an hour and half away and we are both pooped, so we asked for a rain check. I'm sure she'll talk about us to everyone else (SILs and their SOs are going) but I can live with that. Helloooooo couch! G just said we could order pizza too, yay! I might even drink a beer. Wehooooo!

So there's this article I just saw on FB of a woman who went through IVF, had 2 embryos implant and BOTH split into identical twins. So she gave birth to quadruplets! Talk about a life change!

ourcrazynavylife I got my first facial last year and am now obsessed. I don't really like massages or most things like that...but facials are amazing and my skin looks and feels like a million bucks after. Have fun! (The cleansing pores part isn't relaxing I guess...but man does it make a difference

Don't like massages?? If I could have one splurge for the rest of my life, it would be weekly massages.

Now I want to get out of bed and brave the cold for a massage...
