I am so tired of feeling sick! I've done all the non medicated things, preggie pops, crackers, water, small meals, ginger, and smelling peppermint oil. So today I gave in and asked DH to pick me up some unisom and b6. Well I wasn't specific and he came home with 100 mg B6, and the unisom gels. I know I can cut the b6 in half and still be fine but is there any way to use the unisom gels? If I need to I can order off amazon and have the right stuff Tuesday. ( I won't be going to town Untill the end of the week) thanks!!

The gels are 50mg and directions say to take one at bedtime. I would guess there is no way to split them though your water idea is cleaver. I think I'll just try a full gel at night and the b6 during the day till the stuff I ordered comes in. Thanks for your input!
I've been doing 25mgs of B6 in the am and pm (a 100mg tab quartered) and 12.5mgs of Unisom tab (the doxylamine kind) at night. I've been doing it for a week now and its been working wonders!

I have been breaking the 100 MG b6 into 2, so 50 mg each. DH found unisom mini gel pills (25mg each) at the grocery store. The directions are to take 2, but I have generally done just 1. The 50mg is probably fine if you can't find the smaller dose.
However, I haven't noticed a huge difference with nausea, just that I have actually been able to sleep at night.

My OB capped B6 at 75mg a day, and said 25 mg. of Unisom. With Diclegis I end up with 40 mg. of each over 3 doses. Diclegis being a slow release I do find it works better. That said, Unisom and B6 were enough last pregnancy.

I think I am in love with B6!!! So last night I took the one unisom gel and 1/3 (as small as I can break it) of a 100mg B6. Last night was the best sleep in a month, I only got up once to pee and fell right back asleep. It was so great as I have been waking up at night for about two hours because of neausa. Then today I've taken 1/3 of the B6 twice (breakfast and lunch). And have only have 3 or 4 quick bouts of neausa that went away fairly quickly!! It was so nice to feel like a human and have to energy and desire to play with my daughter. Thank you all so much for your input! I am giving yall all the credit today!
