I've been up for a bit, but it's because I'm getting ready to go to work. Also was up twice last night to pee. And I feel like I may vomit up my breakfast, so that's fun.

This Monday has me feeling bummed. I put DD to bed around 7:30 last night. I have to stay at school for a meeting tonight, which means I will get home after she's asleep. I won't see her again until Tuesday at 5!!! Hate that.

I dont know if my tastes have changed or this is just a bad cup of coffee. I guess I will find out when I get to Starbucks later. Not enjoying this though.

Up early because DS woke up and fussed for quite awhile. Luckily, he went back to sleep, but I'm still up. I've been watching Amy Schumer clips from The Golden Globes last night. I love her awkward humor.
I actually slept last night!! I woke up a few times and had to get up to pee once but it's the most sleep I have gotten in quite a while.
youdontsay DW has been sleeping in the spare room for over a week now. With DS it she didn't start sleeping there until 24 weeks and my snoring got bad. But we all need our sleep!

I got such a good night sleep last night and woke up before the kids which I love. They are early risers typically we all get up at the same time but on mornings that I am up first I really enjoy the quiet alone time. Sometimes I get this crazy idea I should get up and shower and get dressed and do the dishes in peace, but realistically this is the only time all day I will get to lay in my bed and watch what I want to watch on tv so I am still snuggled under the covers lol. Of course as soon as the kids wake up I will regret not showering first but for now, this is bliss.
I seriously hope all the ladies who have been sick the last few days are starting to feel better!
Anyone else have an ultrasound today? I'm so nervous.

DW has apparently named this child. We were texting and she was highlighting an article she read. She then says "we will groom this century's Mozart. My [name]." And I was just stunned. First, it starts with J. That would be the 13th J name between me, DW, my dad, 2 brothers, and a slew of our nieces and nephews. I did not want to continue this. 2nd, its hebrew. We wanted arabic, as we are muslim and DW family is muslim. I asked her where it came from and she told me she was making prayer and when she referred to baby, that's what came out. She then googled it and found out it was hebrew, but it also means the exact same thing as the female arabic name I picked..that I hadn't mentioned to her yet. Of course I then fell in love with it smh. This kid will have all the bases covered: biracial, trilingual, and multicultural lol. Such a chameleon this one.
Apparently I offered to take my CW's daughter out driving before her road test. My CW drives a Hummer, I drive a Honda hatchback so we figured it would be easier for her to learn on that at the time.
I am laying in bed eating pretzels and thinking about how My little girl is 1 today! It felt like I would never survive the pregnancy, then the NICU, then the colic/lack of sleep and pumping ect. Here we are! One year down! (Pic right after birth before she was intubated)
Either my m/s suddenly became drastically worse last night, or I have dysentery. Could go either way.
I'm sorry you're feeling bad, but this felt like the right time to say that I read all your posts with a british accent. Especially ones when you say "bloody". Those are my fave. I also assume you have tea at high noon. But I'm just a southern girl who has never been out the states and just watches a lot of foreign films lol. I hope you feel better soon!
