Sooo I'm sitting at home this afternoon, thinking about ttc and stuff and I had some questions and i'm like you know what, I'll go hit up the ladies on the bump. They always have awesome advice and info. I took a few months off from visiting and you can imagine my surprise when I viewed the barren wasteland that is the bump.com now. Posted the following there and was very luckily informed by a couple lovely ladies to come here. Thank God.
Anyways. Reposting from there..
Hey!
It's been awhile since I have posted. My Fiancé and I were ttc. In August he proposed, our wedding is set for October 3rd, 2015. So we stopped trying in January, after trying for one full year. I don't want to be pregnant for my wedding. We have made doctor apts to have things checked out. We are planning to start trying again after our wedding.
Now, we have decided for our honeymoon to go to Alaska for two weeks. It is a 6 and a half hour flight from where I am. What I'd like to know from you is:
What are your thoughts and experiences with traveling while pregnant? I have heard it is safer to do so in the second trimester, but not in the 1st or 3rd. I have read a lot of contradicting info on the internet though of course. I was hoping maybe some personal opinions and experiences may help make my decision on whether we can start trying again the night of our wedding onwards, or if we should wait until on the honeymoon. We planned on going to Alaska sometime between December - January.
Thanks!
