Also DS2 didn't really change my body at all, I just had a little basketball on my belly. This child has already expanded my bum and hips. Not keeping any food down but still managing to expand me arse. Lolok thanks
I had my first OB appt today at 10 weeks and I was surprised (but totally thrilled) to get a bedside abdominal u/s. I got to see my little gummy bear wiggling around and waving her arms like crazy. It was so cute! And a nice relief to know everything is still a-ok.
And they're giving me a perinatal referral, which means even more ultrasounds. Woohoo!
Yay, that's awesome! Surprise ultrasounds are fun.
I always thought soma was for old ladies for some reason. Then my aunt bought me soma pjs for Christmas. They are fabulous.
Their lingerie is a bit mature/conservative for my taste, but their bras and underwear are wonderful. And the ladies there actually know how to fit a bra
I laid down when I put DS down for his nap but am wide awake but our floors our so squeaky I can't get up without waking him up. So I started to look for a new maternity pillow (I sweated through my last one after DS and threw it out) any favorites?

Perfect ultrasound! Baby A measuring exactly at 7w6d, Baby B one day behind. Strong heartbeats at 157 and 152! And if I look closely I can see the little arm and leg buds!
We officially graduated from our RE and will be calling the MFM to schedule asap.

Yay a for Bocatwins!!
This is my second and I didn't get maternity underwear last time- I always figured it was a scam. You all are making me question that logic. But I don't remember my underwear being uncomfortable last time, I'll guess we'll see how I feel this time around.

Add me onto the "never owned maternity underwear" train. My underwear is always pretty low cut and I've never had an issue either maternity or PP (with a c-section scar). I do have old underwear specifically stockpiled for PP so I don't trash my nicer stuff.
DD2 graduated from PT through Early Intervention today. I am so proud of her! Also happy to have that off my schedule, but I'm glad we did it and she's all caught up.
Congrats on the good ultrasounds.
I remember 9-11 weeks as being the worst for m/s before and things turning around by 12. This does not feel good at just starting 9 weeks...
PgAL brain has been rough this week after one of those bad dreams. Whatever happened to the PgAL/PAIF check-in? Did it go away?

I loved the Luna lullaby nursing pillow. I'f you're looking for a pillow that wraps all the way around you it might not be the best option. It was only $60ish. It was perfect for sleeping while pregnant and made a fantastic nursing pillow (it's "L" shaped). I can't wait to break it out again.
Speaking of sweating through things... when I was pregnant with DS I made my husband promise I could have a fancy new mattress when I got pregnant again. Then I experienced post-partum night sweats. It was gross. Like we had to throw out our nice white sheets - kinda gross. Now I can't decide if I really want that new mattress. Waste of money?

Edited for autocorrect.
I didn't have the sweats, but milk was EVERYWHERE. I would wait until after that leaky crazy stage if it was me.

Ah I forgot about this. The leaky stage when even lanisoh pads can't contain the milk.

gratefulgirl I think the idea wad that anyone can start the PAIF/PGAL check in, I don't know if there was a specific day or anything... so I would say feel free to post it if you want!
We have a fantastic waterproof mattress cover. When I say waterproof I mean "My 2 year old dumped a jug of maple syrup on my bed and not a drop touched the mattress"

Last time I was pregnant I was a L on underwear and was able to go up a size but now I am an XL and in regular stores there is no bigger size I may have to submit to the maternity underwear.
