Congratulations on your beautiful, perfect, healthy boy. I definitely did not make it through this post without tears in my eyes. You are an amazing mother and I'm so happy for you that you were able to find a couple that so fit your and Isaac's needs. But huge ((hugs)) to you as you make your way through this grieving process.
Thank you for sharing your journey and story. I hope that you are healing from your c-section. It is so wonderful how you have built such a connection and bond with the AP.

I read this over on Parenting and started to reply but got called away and I don't think I ever actually posted it. So: Congratulations and thank you for sharing your story! It brought tears to my eyes. He's one lucky baby to be surrounded by SO MUCH love.
Side note: can I ask what took you to Alaska? That's where my birth mom moved in the months before I was born, too. I didn't realize for a while that that's where you were.
