What do y'all do when your LO refuses to sit in the stroller? It's impossible to go for lengthy walks these days because LIl Miss refuses to sit. Then she wants to either walk at toddler pace or have me carry her. I haven't used the Ergo in months and we don't have a hiking backpack. I don't even really want a hiking backpack, but getting her to sit long enough for us to take a little jaunt to the park would be nice.
It's really difficult. She is okay for about 30 minutes then she cries to get out. Sometimes snacks and milk help keep her relaxed. We almost always end with her pushing because I can't stand the whining anymore.
Got the mini pill on friday and started taking it. Read the instructions and I am so scared I am going to screw it up because the risk of getting pregnant is higher than on regular PCPs with estrogen.
I recommend setting an alarm on your phone for a time of day when you're always home and usually not busy. For me it was around 9pm. I never missed one that way.
That is so smart, 9pm is way better than 12pm. The alarm would go off for 15 mins while I was in a meeting in another room. I do not recommend 12pm.
So O woke up with a 102°fever. She's had some Tylenol today and it's stayed around 99. She hasn't eaten very much, only napped thirty minutes, but is otherwise acting completely normal. She can't decide if she's sick or not..

I don't even try anymore. Seriously. She might let me wear her but I'm not sure I can do her weight on my back right now. I haven't tried. She wants to walk. H tried the wagon and she was good to the park and almost back until she wouldn't sit down about two blocks from home. He carried her.
My H gets annoyed when he comes with us shopping or something because I typically let her walk from car to inside and then walk a few minutes around FIRST then I put her in stroller or shopping cart and she's good for the rest of the time. This doesn't work all the time but it usually helps
E is watching frozen for the second time today. She never watches this much tv, but when she's not feeling well I don't put a limit on her tv time. We are also moving today, in a snowstorm. So I need her to be distracted.

Fudgy brownies (edge or center, slight preference for edge) and the only time I like nuts is when I get brownies from this one sandwich place that does a thin layer of frosting topped with a sprinkle of nuts. Most of the time, no nuts.
One of the tastiest brownies I made were nice and fudgy and had red wine soaked raisins in them.
Today was such a good day. We went to an oyster roast and it was in the upper 60s and beautiful. Amelia had a great time. Then we went to our small group night with several people who were also at the oyster roast. Amelia had a blast playing with the other kids while the adults talked and did our thing. She has been so sweet and happy today.
